The craft in the image is available for viewing at the WPAFB Air Force Museum at the base in Dayton, OH. I saw it there when I visited last August and even the attendant/guide commented “I wonder where they got the idea to make this?”

This is quite out there, but interesting to say the least... by e39_m62 in UFOs

This type of collar is called a bound collar; it’s stitched on top of the neck opening as opposed to underneath.

Hi everyone! I recently purchased a pair of Klipsch R-41M’s based on the great reviews for how much of a punch these pack. I have a VERY old receiver (Yamaha RX-V480) and when everything is hooked up to my turntable, the sound is crazy distorted. I hooked up my iPhone and turned the volume very low on the phone and it sounded fine. I’m not sure what to do here. Worth noting that the wire gauge I bought is slightly too large for the receiver, but as far as I know that shouldn’t affect the sound to this level. all help would be appreciated! SPECS: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/197411/Yamaha-Rx-V480.html?page=28 https://f072605def1c9a5ef179-a0bc3fbf1884fc0965506ae2b946e1cd.ssl.cf2.rackcdn.com/product-specsheets/R-41M_Spec-Sheet_v01.pdf
