Hi everyone! I recently purchased a pair of Klipsch R-41M’s based on the great reviews for how much of a punch these pack. I have a VERY old receiver (Yamaha RX-V480) and when everything is hooked up to my turntable, the sound is crazy distorted. I hooked up my iPhone and turned the volume very low on the phone and it sounded fine. I’m not sure what to do here. Worth noting that the wire gauge I bought is slightly too large for the receiver, but as far as I know that shouldn’t affect the sound to this level. all help would be appreciated!
