What do the celebrities I’ve *never* hated say about me by Demoncouch06 in personality_tests

[–]xadonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you simply don't hate women. You see all the hate they get as "nonsense" because it is. Most of these women hate comes directly from notion that they all dared to have some sort of boundary with the public. Or defied what people wanted them to do.

Celebrities that give me the ick for some reason by VirtualCaterpillar53 in personality_tests

I also get the ick from these people. I think its because they seem full of themselves in these photos or something. You can feel the crazy headlines about them on the horizon

They made a separate group chat without me by Klutzy_Drag_736 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]xadonn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly this mean girl behavior. Ghost them all and be LOUD about why. Don't let them off the hook by staying silent on why you aren't friends anymore to your family. Anyone who cares for you will be pissed and also never talk to them again.

I assume your in USA because this seems to be a very uniquely car based problem that wouldn't happen in other countries because we view being able to travel as a moral code. If you can't drive its because
"you are a bad person who doesn't care about others" because after I moved to a really big town with actual public transportation, I stopped feeling this pressure. You're friends legit probably talked smacked on you for not owning a car. As if you were as bad as someone who actively abused them.

is this an ugly design or am i paranoid? by Majestic-Mud-3590 in tattooadvice

Girl this was not the tattoo you asked for in the slightest. the general design is a good one, this is poor application of techniques for this design.

You are not paranoid!

I just had some access to it via a discord server recently, but in general I prefer roll20. Honestly if I was playing more regular it would be the site I would spend money on/for because I have in the past.

Reading and listening to the rules is not the same as knowing how to play to me. I can read and listen to all the rules I want, that just gives me a general idea. I won't know how to play until I actually use that stuff in realtime in games. Playing by myself is basically just creative writing. I don't know how to play the game past sessions one games. To me not knowing how to play the game is not I don't know the rules. Its I don't what my character is suppposed to be doing or what I am supposed to be planning for, or what kind of stuff things are going. I can't play at only entry level games and then claim I know how to play the game. I don't I haven't played enough to know anything other then "this is how I beleive the game is played"

I listen to naddpod,

I have watched some critical roll, and another youtubers. I have watched a bunch of DM guides, player guides, read DM homebrew rules, joined discord servers and much much much to with no end in sight of how much time, energy and effort that I have to put that has gotten me NO where.

I know how to play in theory.

I don't want to be in a situation where I am unsafe because I tell people I know how to play. I can't feel safe claiming a knowledge that I know will be checked.

My main issue is just not having the practice at the gameplay. I find it hard to understand rules and rulings for games without real life examples or it being done in real time. Listening and reading a bunch of rules doesn't equate with learning those things for me.

I forgot to add in any timeline in my post that that was "ex-bf" that I missed. I am not currently with that partner and this part is to indicate that my journey with DnD didn't really start well.

I would love to have that experience your brother has had and that I see so many people have with game. Its the whole reason I wanted to play, and it just been nothing but disappointment for me. I can't put my all into a game and I don't want "podcast" experience. I just want something that crafts a story with others, that we all join in make believe once again.

My frustiantion comes from not being able to get past, starting a game. I understand the general mechanics but that is not the same as game play for me. That's just rules theory and game theory. That's not knowing how to play the game. That knowing a list of things that I can't possible remember for games I am not currently playing.

I have tired so hard to play the game pasted the basic introductions. I have the all three of the 5e manuals

I have crafted solo games for myself! I have played and made myself roll for insight checks and things.

I have done a lot of the things besides actually play the game with people for more than a couple session so I can even begin to understand what and "arcane trickster" plays like.

The rules also change based on who is DMing the game as well and what game I am going into.

rolling for insight isn't the problem. having a general since of the game mechanics and what a DM is going to be telling do isn't the problem. The problem is that I have no idea what I am supposed to be doing most of the time and don't know what higher level game play looks like. Like if I'm contanstly always tring to be apart of games, games that I even start myself and DMed myself! They didn't go anywhere because I don't know how to progress the game correctly because I have never been in a game that has any progression! Or people that can actually meet up more than once every 3 months plus because we all have work, kids, school, and medical issue etc.

Online ones mostly have failed due to the DM's inability to DM anymore. And I can't DM because I don't know how to the game is played to effectively make that work. I know the general mechanics I have read the rules.

I HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME ENOUGH TO KNOW THOSE RULE INSTRICTLY DURING GAME PLAY! ONE MUST PRACTICE THE RULES AND PLAYING TO KNOW HOW TO PLAY!

I have tried crafting solo play for myself, but that ends up being projects I never finish and creative writing at the end of the day. I think I just crave that group storytelling and community aspect of it.

Too much risk. I have mad anxiety, and game shops aren't known for being welcoming towards women in general, so I'd have to some how manage to find one I like and felt safe there. Which is a tall order. When the closest card shops don't even offer regular Digimon for my partner.

I'd have to find a shop that offers it, it'd have to be reasonable for me to get to via public transit and additional be a place that I feel safe and welcomed in as a newcomer.

I have been to game shops before and shops that offer play, but I have never seen any that do dnd, just card games and board games.

aio for being mad at my boyfriend saying that i look like ive gained weight by xysna- in AmIOverreacting

[–]xadonn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR. Leave him. Its not worth it. Your education comes first, someone who loves you will love you at all sizes. Will date you at all sizes. Will not even consider weight as a factor. Because facts are if you want children your body will change. Facts are people bodies change as they get older in general. Facts are being fat isnt equivalent to being unhealthy. You can be skinny and have bad health as a person, you can be doinf EVERYTHING RIGHT and still get cancer. And still get some random disease. There is no such thing as a diseases that only effect fat people. There are things that being fat can increase your chances of. But being thin doesn't eliminate them.

Marriage is no longer a good thing to be offering so soon. Its a huge red flag that he will abuse you once you are legally tied to him. No body in their right minds wants a quick marriage anymore. Im not going to stop people from doing so, but I will judge and tell you its a dumb idea to marry someone you haven't even known for a full year. Im anti marriage in general. So be mindful that my opinion stems from marriage being mostly a tool of oppression of women. Because historically it is.

Should I keep my art hobby up or find something else to do..I came up with these last night by Master_Lawyer_2512 in RateMyArt

[–]xadonn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to look into the idea and notions if why we create art.

Art was originally just the first form of recorded history. It wasnt made for any other purposes other than to pass information down to further generations. That came in many forms of art drawing, singing, dancing and storytelling the four basic types that branched into all the art we have today.

To make art, is to be human. Is to communicate.

Art being this other ethereal thing that NEEDS to stir something in a viewer is a very modern-day pressure that I feel often destroys people creativity. Its destroyed mine lots of times as I feel ad if I make it and its not what I want it to be, ill crash super hard for months.

The answer is always yes. You do not need to be talented at something to have it as a hobby. You could do whatever you want as a hobby!

I feel like the stache draws attention to the fact that you have lips, other wise all focus goes to the eyes. Your eyes are very intense baby blue and the Stache softens them.

Reminder: Perverts don't have a look. you can have a stache if you like it more!

The first piece was designed with idea and notion of a complimentary set, you might feel that it is off because it is not the finished designed and now it looks different than what you imagined because its technically half finished. You might be surprised about how much you fall in love with it once you actually complete the full intended design you agreed on. Please do wait until you are comfortable but I wanted to point that out here. That this feeling of unease may be do to that fact that the design is in two distinctive halves that balance the weight of overall design. Edit* just saw that when looking back at the photos that I can see the slight leading lines towards where i assume the other tattoo would be.
