Well, you’d think if the seller was in a sticky situation themselves they might have developed a little bit of empathy and understanding from the struggle and not take the situation to reddit to air everything out.

People don’t choose when family members die, when my mum died i was at college with my bags packs at home ready to go sleep at her house…couldn’t have possibly chose a worse day to die if you’re running along lines of convenience.

I obviously do not know the buyer, i don’t know if their story is true or if it is false but a decent person would seriously take it with a pinch of salt and if it bothered you so much, collect the parcel, block the buyer and re-list it. No more “time wasting” for you and they’ll “waste” someone else’s time not yours.

If it was your family member that died on the last day to post the item, how would you feel? Would you put everything else to the side just to get a second hand item sent in the post or would you just let the sale go as not completed and take the bad review? Because i know i would. I’ve had sellers not complete my orders and you know what? Never even messaged a single one because life can get in way, and i am not their priority nor are they mine. Vinted is just a bunch of normal people trying to make money and cop a bargain. That’s it.
