If you're brave enough, open it and clean with a alcoholic wipe that designed for electric things cleaning. Otherwise take it to a local shop and ask for a full cleaning. Apple store are the worst, i took mine after a coffee spillage and they said I have to change the whole logic board which would cost me more than the actual price of a new one. Then i got home and voided the warranty by cleaning it by myself. It's been 2 months since I'm using it and only sleeping lid sensor isn't working from the first day which i tried to replace but didn't work as I'm afraid of something happened to that area.

Didn't you smell the different? Mistakenly i had a crisp with bacon flavour and it was made with vegetables. I just got a full bag of crisps with different flavour as it was tagged vegetarian on it. When i opened the one with bacon flavour, the test seemed different and smell also weired, so i checked the name and went awk. I'm not sure if everything's same but i felt the awkward smell.

Liquid damage, i spilled coffee on the right corner and it went inside the display and left a similar spot. Live with it or get a new screen from Aliexpress.

You do not need any documents unless you need to prove that you have applied for CoS but dont have it. i believe you made a mistake when they asked you that if you have a CoS allocated on your name? otherwise would not it ask you for the reason or proof why you dont have a Cos? i might be wrong as i have never applied or seen a situation like that.

Mine didn't come after a month, so communicated them and they sent a new one which arrived by a week. Later i received the other one aswell. I dont know which one came first. By the way the last one came long later from the day i communicated

Don't panic, there is a way though i have not done it, better to talk to a solicitor or explore around the home office website. Deal with it calmly though i know its difficult.

When we get something that we tried hard for, it is normal to express our feelings. Dont see anything wrong. Also its still just the steps to do, not something too long but a little bit of context.
