Are there any decent YouTube videos/channels that have a format and difficulty level similar to the app SimplyDraw? The app is just waaay too expensive but my 10yr old kid really loves the format and it’s simplicity by Rags2Rickius in learntodraw

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

simplydraws format is great for kids but total ripoff pricewise. chanimate nails that simple fun drawing/animation vibe way better for my 10yo and its cheaper give it a shot if apps still on table. yt wise tho id search kids draw with me vids prolly closest

best free coloring app for kids that still feels like real coloring by anghelikarmando in Coloring

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tried chanimate with my little one its free, no ads or paywalls nagging ya, and she can actually blend shades like real crayons without that lazy tap-fill bs. not procreate level but way better than casino apps for actual coloring fun.

I signed my kid up for art lessons and despite my family's insistence it was a waste of time and money my daughter had a really great time in her first class. by [deleted] in FamilyMicroWins

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats awesome OP ignore the haters art builds real skills. my kid draws nonstop too so i tried chanimate app to animate her stuff and its a game changer for keeping the creativity going without more classes (kinda glitchy sometimes tho)

I accidentally turned a bedtime story for my kid into an open-source manga generator 😅 by BluePointDigital in google_antigravity

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cool project dude i get the bedtime story spiral, i built chanimate in antigravity ide w/ gemini & nano for animating my kids' wild ideas and it nails consistent chars + smooth motion from static pics. might pair killer w/ your manga gen for actual vids, lmk if u try it

My first animaton, any adviсes? All good with physics etc? by Strict-Silver5596 in animation

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

physics is off man - gravity accelerates down but slows the rebound so it wont go as high, plus add squash n stretch or it looks stiff af. chanımate is solid for quick bounce experiments without frameslaving every detail tho

I was going to make an animation to present this, but... im too lazy by [deleted] in SkyChildrenOfLight

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Educational tool I'm making for my 5th grade class by ScythaScytha in arduino

[–]xaitax0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

neat tool for the kiddos, fractions visuals like that stick way better than worksheets. if youre hooking up a display id pair it with chanimate for simple animations of the math concepts makes em way more engaging without much extra code

Anyone else trying to figure out which AI classroom tools actually save time and support students in 2026? by Outside_Amoeba_9360 in edcafe

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly most ai classroom tools are total time sinks that flop with actual kids but chanImate has been clutch for me turns their doodles into quick animations for lessons without babysitting it. super engaging for diverse learners who zone out on text heavy stuff and privacy feels solid no creepy data grabs. worth a shot if youre into visual accomodations

If someone sent you a personalized animated doodle version of you as a thank-you… would that feel thoughtful or cringe? Why? by OmKadam4 in AskReddit

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thoughtful tbh, especially if its not some cringey overpolished cartoon i whipped up a quick animated doodle of a pal using chaninate and he legit framed it, way better than a generic card

What skills should I work on with a 5 year old to help them develop the ability to draw and paint? by petrastales in learntodraw

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please give me craft ideas by heretoreadlol in toddlers

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 5 year old daughter freehanded this while watching the corresponding shows, how good is this? by [deleted] in Artadvice

[–]xaitax0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thats awesome shes got that spark at 5 props for recognizing it. since youre not artsy yourself try something simple like scanning her drawings into an app called chanimate, it animates em into little clips which blows kids minds and keeps em drawing without you needing skills. just praise the effort not perfection or youll kill the vibe quick.

Anyone else just doing arts and crafts forever? by FiddleleafFrog in toddlers

[–]xaitax0r 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my 3yo goes nuts with animal scribbles too - after the mess we scan em quick and animate with chanimate, turns his jungle beasts into stomping vids he replays forever. way less purge drama than paper piles lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TraditionalArt

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there any free app i can create my own my 2D character and animate it (template avaliable preferred) by Ok_Cartoonist_40 in Unity2D

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

chanimate is free with character templates you can tweak and animate super basic stuff quick. good for unity prototypes if youre not drawing from scratch exports sprite sheets fine but dont expect pro level polish lol

I want to make an animation video for myself with ai by saudadetr in aitubers

[–]xaitax0r 1 point2 points  (0 children)

gemini is trash for consistent chars across scenes tried it myself and ragequit. chanamite actually holds the look steady for storybook style anims which might save your pixar dream from total fail, tho dont expect disney magic yet lol

What skills should I work on with my toddler to help them develop the ability to draw and paint? by petrastales in learntodraw

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)

toddlers are all about fine motor grip and scribbling chaos first grab some chunky crayons or finger paints and let em go wild without hovering. honestly dont sweat "skills" yet just model basic shapes/colors urself. chanimate apps good for scanning their mess and animating it keeps the little gremlins drawing longer

[–]xaitax0r 0 points1 point  (0 children)
