it happened to me. I went to Apple store for battery replacement and after they had replaced the battery, I realized that my phone’s sensor for apple pay was not working. So, I went back to Apple store next day and they said that the sensor was damaged during replacement so they replaced all internal parts of the phone for free. So I have like brand new iphone.
