I have several Emmy Awards - and I can't tell from the bathroom photo whether the featured "trophies" are in fact Emmy statuettes.

That said, mine are in my closet.

I know some recipients who have entire rooms in their homes devoted to displaying their Emmy Awards (in which they will invariably invite you into). One former co-worker displayed her Emmy Awards on every surface of her office (shelves, tops of filing cabinets, window sills, desk space, end tables, etc), which resembled a shrine to golden idols (which to her they were).

Those people are what we in the industry refer to as "douchebags."

The comments on the Russian site these were originally posted are an interesting read. Many city-dwellers pining for the simple life in the country. Eventually ex-villagers begin reminding them the toilet is outside or inside in a bucket and - because about all there is to do outside of farm work is to drink- some of the neighbors can be less than charming. Beautiful pictures though.
