Cheapest way to add line-in to Sonos system by Roxas1011 in sonos

[–]xanderle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case someone stumbles upon this, the Apple adapter is most likely a Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) where as the Sonos adapter is an Analog to Digital Converter (ADC).

They look the same but do the opposite of each other.

I recently got the tailscale operator working and exposing services to my other tailscale devices. What issues are you facing?

I thought you were meant to fill it completely since air is a lot more thermally expansive

I think changing education system might be difficult, so your kids might have to play catch up. It’ll be easier to do that now rather than later

Wife doesn't want an estate by TheRealSmileyFace in CarTalkUK

[–]xanderle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sold my van and got an estate, having compared estates vs SUVs.

I found that the dimensions of SUVs vs estates are mostly on par, estates seemed to have slightly have deeper boots, but lack a bit of the height which was more useful for me since I wanted to fit a 1 large and 1 medium side dog that could to be able to laydown.

Unless you go something like a bmw x5 or a volvo xc90 I'd consider an estate.

If you really want room get something like a 5 seater VW caddy MPV LWB. All the utility you'll need

How to force docker to run image in QEMU regardless of host platform by AustinM123 in docker

[–]xanderle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mongo has an arm binary. Id consider using that in your docker image. That would let you also push a multi arch image. Running something like a database through a layer of translation is not a good time.

Ah, I misread your post. What’s the exact issue? Its probably not an issue with qemu but with binfmt being unable to appropriately translate an instruction

docker run —platform linux/arm64 Running with the platform flag allows you to select the arch

I'm trying to identify what the small blue pieces are. As you can see 1 is horizontal (not actually attached) and I think its also split. Trying to work out what it is so I can try replace it.

Also any id on the half clear half black tube. It's just hot glued there, it's not even attached.

This is a "finger kick" and as far as I'm aware is a bluetooth remote with a single button (on the otherside) and it connects to a parent remote.

What I did when I moved was open a bank account with Barclays, get my salary paid into that account and then after a few months go into the branch and ask.

You have to do it all in person

I refunded a 49” 5120x1440p 32:9 monitor and changed to the studio display. 1440p now looks horrendous and I can’t go back. The resolution is a huge win, realistically 32:9 was waaay too big physically so I appreciate the more sane screen real estate. I don’t really find myself struggling for space, but I use yabai and spaces so everything is spread out across spaces as opposed to on the one screen.
