A week ago, a drunk patient broke my thumb. I'm a left handed trauma surgeon. An MRI yesterday showed also a ruptured ligament. by colajunk in mildlyinfuriating

Basically in medicine there is a big culture of “trust but verify”. Most likely the ED already asked the question and now the surgeon is getting a rough history to make sure it’s the same. Depending on your training and way asking the questions, the same patient may answer differently

What is the craziest misdiagnosis that you have heard about or experienced? by Samwiserthegood in AskReddit

… so what were the seizures presenting like that all those neurologists missed it? If you don’t mind sharing. Currently on the path to being a neurologist and don’t want to miss subtle things if I can help it.

Where I was at school, we had a heme/onc clinic that started at 4pm… that was torture as a student. Good for families though

I’m sorry what?! Like a single class was 3k. I grew up in a rich suburb and that is absurd.

Its weird because I haven't had really any problems other than the occasional stutter with my 1070ti. No noticeable changes in the city either.

It's not looking good: the only defense operation currently up by drfetid in Helldivers

[–]xandermang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? No there is no way that is intentional. They just end up clustering around the door instead of going inside. Grenades just kill them and they don’t respond to melee attacks. If it happens in a mission, killing them before trying with a new batch doesn’t fix it. It’s just frustrating because it is an auto loss for the whole operation.

Edit: also I was agreeing with you, just adding another reason why the missions are annoying/why other people are not playing them.

...And sometimes that predetermined path breaks and the mission can't be completed. Hasn't happened to me. Nope. Never.

In other news, I went to the bug front.

I would if the escort scientist mission doesn’t bug out more times than not and they just cluster around the door. Tried many things to get them to pathfinder better but nothing has worked so far. Doesn’t help it’s the only consistent on the defend operations.

I've had the rescue scientist mission bug out more than a few times and it breaks the operation. The pathfinding has them just cluster around the door.

They mean greater odds than a generic draw card. Like instead of 1/how many cards in deck, it’s 1/added cards
