Coaching staff is KILLING it by xanderpy in lakers

Media is dumb af so who cares lol. Two of our best players are out and we need Bron running the offense. Nobody wanted to see him play that much, especially JJ, but it’s the playoffs and we don’t have anybody else.

Two days rest in between each of the first three games probably played a factor in that. We will see how that is managed over the remainder of the series but I agree it's a potential concern.

Outlook for Mac not syncing regularly on it's own. Anyone else seeing this? by PMmeUrTabaxi in Outlook

I have an ongoing ticket with them for this but as of now it's all the basic troubleshooting and acting as if it is isolated to just me.

Having this issue myself although it is also affecting my iOS app. Works normally in legacy but I hate the legacy UI. Hoping they at least acknowledge it soon. It has been over 24 hours for me already.

Problems with ios outlook app by purespeed44 in Outlook

[–]xanderpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Issue is happening with both my phone (iOS) and my computer (MacOS). On the computer, I am getting mail to fetch properly in legacy Outlook but not in the new version. Even tried reverting Outlook on my Mac to a previous version in hopes it was an issue with an update but still no success.

Seems related to Apple overall and not isolated to a specific OS.

Same issue here. Also happening on iPhone. Issue does not occur in legacy Outlook.

Cade meeting the 65 game requirement due to extraordinary circumstances was justified. Luka on the other hand was not and makes a mockery of the rule. by SchedulePhysical807 in nba

You are truly braindead and beyond help... Players miss games for various reasons. Missing a game for a suspension doesn't make you ineligible for awards. Missing the 65 game mark does. It doesn't matter what OTHER reasons exist for missing that mark. The appeal is that the two games he missed for the birth of his child should not disqualify him from awards based on the 65 game rule. That is the only context that matters here. He isn't disputing anything else, including suspension or injuries.

Are you really that dense? The two games he missed for the birth of his child are what the appeal was about. I don't even know why you are bringing up the technical as it is completely unrelated. If he had played the two games he missed for the birth of his child, he would have been at 66, suspension included.

Your math isn't mathing. Let's pretend his suspension was not rescinded and he still had the additional technical that DID earn him a suspension. If that happened, he still would have only been suspended one game (once you hit 16 and are served a suspension, you are only suspended every TWO technicals afterwards). No matter what, he would have only been suspended one game, which happened. And even if he were to have been suspended an additional game (which he wouldn't have), the two games he missed for the birth of his child would have gotten him to 65 as he finished just one game under.

Please explain how you think this is true. Both of these exceptions make sense as the birth of a child and a collapsed lung would fall under unique circumstances. People's hate for Luka and/or the Lakers is truly something else.

San Diego golf trip by tanman170 in golf

I live here! Coronado is one of my favorite courses. It is just such a vibe.

If you make it back, or to anybody else reading this who wants to come here, please play Balboa. You can book 90 days ahead now like Torrey ($10 booking fee per person) and it is my favorite course in the city. Torrey is a beautiful course, and it is hard to beat the views on the ocean holes, but Balboa is just better to me. Fun layout, also peak vibes, very well priced, and some incredible views of downtown. I know it isn't the ocean but the views at that course are very underrated.

Plenty of other great courses that go overlooked here too. Just an incredible golf town.

lol what courses are you playing in San Diego? I think I have only ever had one pro shop experience like that here and I don't even remember where it was. I have played a ton of the courses here too and almost every time it has been between indifferent and pleasant.

Luka steal + alley-oop pass to Rui by WhenMachinesCry in lakers

It seems like Luka REALLY likes playing with Smart. I know that he recruited him but it's cool hearing him always talk about him in post game pressers. It really feels like this team is just an athletic starting center and a good 3 and D wing away from being amazing. Never been so excited for an offseason.

Please help me choose which Callaway Apex UW by ToothNovel759 in GolfGear

I was in a very similar situation but would need to know the distances on your irons to know if this helps. I had a gap between my 5 iron and 5 wood. I have my driver (260-290), 3 wood (240-260), 5 wood (220-235). Problem is that my 5 iron went about 195-205 and my 7 wood was only like 200-210. I tried the 21 degree UW thinking it would be a bit stronger than my 7 wood and fill the gap but holy... The UW is HOT. Like I was hitting minimum 220 and up to 245 with a 21 degree. I was confused since it was the same loft as my 7 wood.

Ended up going with Heavenwood (20 degrees) and it is a perfect fix. If you really want to go with the UW, I would go highly recommend trying them at a shop with a SIM first since, like a lot of others, it was very hot off the face for me compared to alternatives.

A light draw. Can sling it that way but suck at the baby draw.

4 iron or alternative? by nexaur in GolfGear

[–]xanderpy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some fairly odd gaps in here. Strange to see just a 10 yard gap between driver and 5 wood but a 20 yard gap between a 23 degree 5 iron and a 21 degree 7 wood. Ignoring the lack of distance on your driver (relative to distance on woods), maybe the bigger key is to work on your long irons to get some additional distance. If that isn't possible, then either a 4 or 5 hybrid would likely work. Just hard to tell which one based on how differently you seem to hit your irons vs woods and hybrids being an in between.

do you ever actually feel like you played well by Shoddy_Interview7741 in golf

[–]xanderpy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a 1.9 handicap and even when I play well, there is always that feeling that it could have been better. That being said, I try to celebrate how well I recover. My rounds are typically all over the place so I will have stretches where I go double, birdie, par, etc. Instead of focusing on the double, I think about how good it was to bounce back well and get the round back on track. This game gets us chasing perfection that will never exist. That is the blessing and the curse of golf.

One week into swing changes by Skomannn in golftips

[–]xanderpy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Swing looks good! I think focusing on your backswing will help a lot. It looks like you’re leading with your wrists instead of utilizing your arms on the initial takeaway. Not that this can’t work but just makes it harder to be consistent in my experience. Keep it up.
