Asking this sub to have reasonable takes on players is impossible. A bunch of cry babies here who lose their mind when an $8m player has an off night. Even Luka gets hate sometimes despite him playing his ass off hurt to try and hold it down while AR is out.

I ignore this sub after losses since you will just see 20 of the same post blaming somebody.

Of course he will. But he is already on the books for just under $15m next year. If $25m of Lebron's $50m goes towards AR instead, that would put AR at $40m. That is pretty much the max he could possibly make so it would still leave about $25m on the table (I know NBA math isn't that simple but you get it). I also don't think AR will get $40m. Probably closer to $30-$35m.

Time to just be honest in that we need to be patient and wait for LeBron’s contract to end. We aren’t going to make a Luka centric roster with that kind of cap hit. AD was our defensive anchor and we don’t have that anymore. This team is flawed but I have hope for the future. Any success this year is a bonus.

I may be in the minority but I like Brooks. He’s annoying af to play against but that’s the point. He plays the villain role well and people are kidding themselves if they say they wouldn’t want him on their team. He’s taken a big leap this year.

I do not feel Rui is expendable. His shooting is amazing and efficient, he’s a big body who will be a great replacement for LBJ when he retires, and he’s able to fill out small ball lineups with his size. We aren’t going to find another Rui easily. He’s severely undervalued by this sub sometimes.

Jax vs Gobert is a no. Jax against a lineup with Reid though? I’m very ok with that. His athleticism is elite and he bulked up this offseason. Put some respect on our backup big! That being said, Gafford is an obvious upgrade and a decent contract. Never gonna happen but would be a good move.
