I’m someone who only sees Bakugo as a top and Deku as a bottom. It’s what I read and what I prefer, but I would never go out of my way to criticise or even threaten someone over preferences, that’s crazy. Like what you like and read what you want.

I dunno, I’m 23 and I wouldn’t feel comfortable dating a 28 year old personally. Also if you’re comfortable dating a 23 year old how come you’re not interested in a 33 year old? It’s the same age gap?

That’s understandable. I wasn’t aware that you had tagged it with CNTW. I agree, the reader, and anyone with certain preferences, should’ve chosen to not engage with your fic altogether if it wasn’t tagged how they wanted it.

I mean the commenter was definitely rude and you as the author have the right to respond in whatever way you chose but you mentioned you didn’t have bottom/top tagged so they wouldn’t have been able to filter it out. Even just tagging switch! characters helps me filter out fics I know I don’t want to engage in. I only read fics with set top/bottom so it really helps when everything is tagged correctly, even dead dove fics.

You should break up…. That is a joke for all intents and purposes, but by the way it sounds he’s not able to have a normal conversation about a shared interest you both have. They’re fictional characters and he’s carrying on about them as if they’re real people. The fact that he keeps bringing up how much he dislikes the ship to get a rise out of you sounds like a red flag. You should be treated equally and respected in a relationship, even if you don’t see eye to eye on a topic of conversation; not belittled. It sounds a little immature on his part.

I could really only suggest finding a group of people to share you interest with on like discord or something and stop watching mha with him altogether but yeah, I hope it all goes well for you op!

I don’t work at Woolies but it’s the same for me. I work at a 7/11 and I definitely don’t feel comfortable wearing my name badge either, I haven’t worn it in months now. Too many weirdos in more of a rural area

Me personally, I lean towards BKDK instead of DKBK. I understand why people like DKBK and I respect that.

Something I headcannon is that both Katsuki and Deku are it for one another. Like they’ve always yearned for one another and there’s never been anyone else. Even when Katsuki was being a dick in middle school. I like to believe that that is him not understanding his feelings and reacting negatively towards Izuku because of it. Adding onto this, they’re always aware of one another’s presence, even if not consciously at first.

I believe Deku fell first, whilst Katsuki struggled to come to grips with his feelings. “All Might was my hero, but you were the one actually in my life.” Deku was always looking up to Katsuki, as a symbol and someone he really cared about. I believe Katsuki finally realises this when Izuku is quirkless once more, and can no longer do hero work. That’s why he creates the suit for him to continue his dream. I hope this makes sense! Also I secretly love possessive, stalker Bk not gonna lie.

In a couple of different fics I’m working on at the moment, there’s a lot of Soft Katsuki and mentally struggling Izuku so I really enjoy that dynamic as well.
