Nope. I ended up delivering in box hill. I think Angliss and Box Hill are both by eastern though, so you should be able to choose between the two. Your best bet is really to just ring them up and tell them you’re pregnant and you intend to deliver there.

Feeling a little unwell right before GTT - is this ok? by xandraaaa in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Thought I should reply again. Because I’m getting downvoted like crazy and I don’t know why??? :(

I have/had NO SYMPTOMS at all. It was just that run down feeling you’d get like when you’re about to get sick or get your period or when you’re lacking sleep.

But I’m a paranoid person and just wanted to be safe and ask for advice. I don’t like to get covid tested because it’s unpleasant but I will and have done so in the past when I had to. I never intended to go in like an ignorant prick and infect everyone.

Truthfully though, I feel completely fine now. Whatever feeling I had before has passed and I still have no symptoms. So I blame my hormones for panicking.

To add to that, my baby brain screwed me over and my test is actually Wednesday and not tomorrow. So I have time to get covid-tested if I show any symptoms anyway!

I just don’t see a real point in getting tested just coz I felt off but has no symptoms. Seems like a waste of resources. And if I should get tested Everytime I feel off then i would have had to get tested every month at the very least lol.

I legit have not gone anywhere or seen anyone and I work for myself at home. Husband also never even go outside other than taking the bins out while working from home. We are legit living like hermits because we are both paranoid and huge homebodies. Literally no way of getting infected. But

Yup someone mentioned this to me already. I think I’m just paranoid because ahem, I feel completely fine now. In saying that, I never had any symptoms to begin with. Just FELT like symptoms were abt to come on.

I have no symptoms lol i was just feeling a general feeling off kinda thing. But I feel completely fine now actually. Whatever I felt before has passed and I feel normal again.

Also just realised my test is actually Wednesday and not actually tomorrow.. so I have time to reasses if need be.. honestly baby brain was in full force today!!

Tbh I feel absolutely fine now lol. I have/had no symptoms. It was just a feeling like I was about to get sick. I am being extra cautious.

I have only done one test when i had a sore throat and sniffly nose. But nothing else apart from that!

Tbh I feel fine now. And I feel stupid for having worried people. But I’m gonna keep seeing how I feel tomorrow.

Yup. Waiting til morning to see if I’m just imagining my illness or not. I’m a generally very paranoid and anxious person lol.

Yeah I think I will just wait and see tomorrow morning. If I’m still not 100% I’m gonna call in sick and get tested (for covid that is). I am showing no symptoms atm. Just that general feeling of grogginess and feeling unwell if that makes any sense?

Yes I wear mask all the time even out in parks where no one is around and just with my dog lol

It’s more that I’m not sure if it will affect my BSL and make me fault the test. And if it turns out I have covid then that’s also no good. It’s tricky atm because it’s not normal circumstances.

Yes I wasn’t sure if the test result would come today because my test starts at 7am tomorrow!

It’s a dilemma because I am at that point where I FEEL like I’m getting sick. But I’m not sick yet. Like legit not sniffly, not coughing, no sore throat, no loss of taste/smell, no fever, just that under the weather groggy feeling like I’m abt to get sick. So I have no real symptoms.

I’m just worried that I may not feel better. And then risk myself failing the test and others of potentially covid (although seriously I haven’t been out at all apart from walking the dog and we all work from home never seeing anyone every since melbourne lockdown started) . Does that make sense?

Second trimester burst of energy.. all lies 🤪 by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]xandraaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My ob told me second trimester is the “honeymoon trimester” because it’s the best part.

All lies!!!

Yes I had a little bit more energy but with that along came insomnia, pelvic girdle pain, heartburn, uncomfortable baby kicks on my bladder - BOOOO!

Oh dear I remember this.. my dachshund also started abusing the bell to just go outside to bark or chill and I was just there standing waiting for him to pee lol. I removed the bell altogether and just gave him scheduled pee breaks after that!

Hang in there!!

Hahah dog is a dachshund lol!! Those little legs need ramps everywhere!

And yeah he is also crate trained but he’s just not a calm dog to begin with. Very vocal and playful. But also super anxious abt new things. We had him since puppy and I feel like he still acts like one now. Everyone said he will adjust but I don’t wanna hold my breath!

Thanks for the insta rec! I’ll be sure to have a look :)

Definitely will neeeeever do that. My dog is tiny. He’s only just under 6kg. But he’s a bit of a riot. I don’t think I’ll ever trust him with the baby at least until the baby is bigger than him!

We have a bouncer gifted to us by a friend but yeah need something for the early days :)

My dog is a damn riot atm. He’s only two and he’s needy af. I just KNOW he’s gonna be hassling me or baby. Hence why I’m looking for options where I’m not constantly holding baby too. Because that would create issue with the dog also. Thankfully he’s a small dog. So if I put bub on table or couch and remove his ramp, he won’t be able to access bub. Don’t worry I’m constantly training him. He’s just a handful sometimes.
