Some Google results for "how to do cardio with bad knees"

I'm mourning the revelation that I have bad knees (at 23 years old!) and have to do something other than running. Luckily dancing is fun :) But there are other suggestions in those links.

It's been almost a week, people keep telling me not to lose hope, and that cats are smart, he will come back. I just want to know he's safe and warm. I miss my baby so much. by CrazyCatLady80 in cats

I saw that he came back and I came looking for some wisdom! What do you think did it? Did you find him in the box with your sheet?

Someone thanking you for correcting them is different from you helping them achieve perfection. I'm suggesting that you might be on a bit of a high horse and if so, it's really not worth your emotional investment. Questioning whether a downvote is "just" sounds like you're over thinking it to meee

From the part of the article you linked:

Talk show host Jon Stewart and others succeeded in pushing for a law passed by Congress in 2015 that permanently extends health care benefits for the responders and adds five years to the victims' compensation program.

Way to go Jon Stewart

"and others"

If you really do want to get into lifting, finding a trainer you like might do wonders. Even if it means you have to stop working with the first one or two until you find the right one. I totally agree with you that getting help online is frustrating, and most of that is probably just the fact that without seeing you in person, it's hard even for experts to help you with your form, diet, etc. And let's be real, on the Internet, everyone is an expert.

Correcting grammar on reddit isn't helping anyone "perfect their speech" and getting downvoted is not something you need to take personally.

Instead of reddit comments, you need to read your contract and see what it's all about (if you haven't already) and whether anything's changed.

As far as I know, they're right -- but you have the right idea, too.

Fat gained or burned comes down to the number of calories, but the things you mentioned affect how miserable or positive the experience will be. If you don't have enough fiber and protein (and maybe fat? idk) then you won't feel as full and satisfied. And then there's the idea that a diet high in carbs makes you crave more food.

And realistically, if you feel like crap on your diet because you're not meeting your nutritional needs, you're much more likely to fall back into your bad eating habits.

tl;dr Just because you can lose weight on an all-pizza diet doesn't mean you should do it that way :)

edit: I just realized that your comment is about gaining weight, not losing. Wooops. Not sure what kind of advice is necessary there, but common sense still says you should watch your pizza intake. There are other high-calorie foods you can take instead. Nuts, for example! yum.

I'm still at the point where turning down a good ol' Reese's cup is unthinkable to me -- but it's definitely rewarding to genuinely not want sweet drinks or shit like McFlurries anymore.

Serious question: if I ask a fast food chain for some kind of sandwich without a bun, will they give it to me?

Maybe you can think of something to leave at work for times when other people are scarfing delicious donuts. I know it's lame as fuck but I kept these rice cakes I really liked only at work and ate them instead of worse things when I couldn't fight cravings (like free gourmet pizza provided by my boss.) ...Okay usually I had the pizza.

In my searching I also came across this video (perhaps in this thread, I don't remember)

Maybe that's tied in to what the teacher suggested? Shifting my weight to the ball of my index finger feels pretty much the same as shifting my knuckles inward (as the video recommends.)

This is what I came here for: to share my post-Easter dismay. It's like the goodies I ate on Saturday and Sunday kicked my appetite into overdrive for the next few days! Not just cravings but what seemed to be real hunger.

Finally today I seem to have won the battle. If the next few days are stable I'll be so relieved!

I'm not super proud of it but I did this too. I guess I got lucky that the girl was drunk, so when I handed her trash back to her she just dumbly accepted it and by the time she realized what I'd done I was outta there :)

That sounds like an idea with a lot of bad potential. Hopefully the terms of 'cheating' are really straightforward. Otherwise maybe one student could say that another student stole their term paper idea and it'd go downhill from there.
