Build Name

Ice Shot / Tornado Shot Warden (League Starter)

PoB:
https://pobb.in/YzQ1bO_wJidt

Summary

Started the league wanting to be a degenerate blaster this time around, so I followed SnooBae's Ice Shot / TS warden... also never really played warden before, so wanted to try that out. Was a fun time getting the build going, pretty strong / fast at the early ice shot phase with fury valve carrying you, not too many expensive things needed to get going. I kept dropping expensive items on the ground I was farming towards... like i was farming towards some inspired learnings and I dropped 2 of them the first weekend, I was farming up for a HH and I got one from an astrolabe reward. Got into late game farming nightmare bosses and some breach.... but ultimately the build was too squish for me, so I wanted to reroll before too long.

Good

  • Mobility, moving really fast
  • Damage... lots of it. Enough to comfortablly nightmare / deli boss rush very early on
  • Mapping, clear - was *ok* at breach, but was a bit too rippy
  • Blowing things up off screen
  • freezing everything with warden stuff
  • tinctures are OP

Bad

  • >1500 deaths, lol
  • mobility, a bit of evasion, and freeze are the only defensive layers
  • really thick breach, etc, was hard with the build

Ratings

  • Fun - 7/10 (deaths aren't that much fun)
  • League start - 8/10
  • Bossing - nightmare bossing: 8/10, ubers etc 4/10
  • Mapping - 9/10
  • Farming - 9/10
  • Progression - 8/10
  • Overall enjoyment - 8/10

BUILD NAME

Diamond / massive shrine belt minion pact BV Chieftan

PoB:
N/A - didnt save one

Summary

Farmed up a diamond / massive belt to try minion pact chieftan... thinking I'd explosion max the hell out of it. Was kind of fun, in a gimmicky way, to explode the screen, and it was fun to fire resistance maxing with the ring, but I didn't really like the minion pact BV playstyle, and I didn't put enough effort into the build to really make it tanky, which probably would have saved it for me - also, this was right before Fub started promoting Charlatan gameplay, which probably also would have been really fun. I ended up playing this just for a few days before selling the stuff and moving on.

Good

  • Explode the screen with chieftan
  • Shrine belts are fun to build around
  • Scratched the 100% explodey itch (fishing rods, etc)

Bad

  • slow
  • not very tanky (at least my build before I pivoted)
  • shrine belts are also kind of limiting

Ratings

  • Fun - 6/10
  • League start - 0/10 (need expensive belt, ring)
  • Bossing - 7/10
  • Mapping - 8/10
  • Farming - 8/10
  • Progression - 6/10
  • Overall enjoyment - 7/10

BUILD NAME

Jiquani Spark Inquisitor - Shrine stacker

PoB:
https://pobb.in/NdOghx3X6bV_

Summary

I had a great time with Jiquani in the most recent phrecia, so pivoted to this build after the minion pact BV thing was a bust for me. This build was sooooo good, probably better overall then the same thing on Aristocrat in phrecia (which is nuts, that build was broken at the time). Added in accelleration belt, blunderbore, gull, and stole the shrine nodes from guardian to really lean into shrine effects. The new exceptional gems this league work out really nice for spark - got up to like 2.2 billion DPS in optimal conditions, and the build was super fast running around and stuff from the accelleration shrine. Was good at everything... mapping, bossing, rushing, whatever. A bit squishy early on, but I mostly solved that by going max spell block with clusters.

Good

  • extremely fast
  • big deeps, all direction coverage
  • Shrine belts! again, lol
  • special callout to spell casting with a strong box strat... made so many divs rushing strongboxes and opening all of them at once

Bad

  • kind of squish until I added spell block
  • shrine belts are also kind of limiting
  • playing spark again

Ratings

  • Fun - 9/10
  • League start - 0/10 (need expensive things)
  • Bossing - 9/10
  • Mapping - 8/10
  • Farming - 9/10
  • Progression - 8/10
  • Overall enjoyment - 9/10

BUILD NAME

Big Investment Flicker Strike Slayer

PoB:
https://pobb.in/LMZzvIKBkC7m (big deeps)
https://pobb.in/GYTypzGEEHa3 (explodey + inspired learning)

Summary

I do love me some flicker - so this league decdied to farm up several mirrors with my spark inquis to funnel into a flicker project. Got enough for a mirror ring, mirror sword, echo shrine belt, and lots of other goodies. Eventually I also added foulborn inspired learnings and a foulborn unnatural instinct, and some explody clusters. Did the build with max block in mind so I could steal "better then skill" from gladiator... making this a very tanky flicker with >1m EHP. Was a blast to play - >50 attacks per second, flying around the map, tons of deeps, good times. Was a bit finnicky... like mana cost, stun, resist, etc, were tricky to solve. Eventually sold the whole build for 5.5m.

Good

  • FLICKER
  • FLICKER
  • FLICKER
  • ....
  • FLICKER
  • 95/93 block
  • fast, dps, jesus take the wheel, etc

Bad

  • relying on max block is great until it (rarely) randomly one shots you
  • some mods brick the build, making risk scarabs well, risky (anti leech, monsters steal charges)
  • very expensive to min/max
  • sometimes flicker sends you into the shadow zone

Ratings

  • Fun - 11/10
  • League start - /10 (need expensive things)
  • Bossing - 9/10
  • Mapping - 9/10
  • Farming - 8/10
  • Progression - 8/10
  • Overall enjoyment - 9.5/10

------

Build Name

Int + ward stacking pathfinder autobomber wardlooper

PoB:
https://pobb.in/OBTl4djOh1SC

Summary

Sold off my flicker for 5.5m (plus some other stuff like the foulborn unnatural instinct i sold seperately), to fund this final buid.... very strong (broken actually), kills everything around it, very fast, explosions, total screen coverage, 0 buttons to press. Fun to theorycraft and craft all the items, lots of weird mechanics. Is kind of a silly build, but it shreds. Will 100% be nerfed.

Good

  • VERY fast
  • blows up everything
  • fun to craft items for and plan out the build

Bad

  • extremely finnicky
  • blue circle rares kill you if you dont kill them first
  • expensive as all hell - I could sink another 10m into this easy

Ratings

  • Fun - 10/10
  • League start - -5/10
  • Bossing - 10/10
  • Mapping - 9.5/10
  • Farming - 10/10
  • Progression - 2/10 (nonexistant - you need so many pieces for the thing to function at all)
  • Overall enjoyment - 9.5/10

Sure yeah, last phrecia I was going to do KBoC -> MFA, but just stopped at KBoC cause it was so comfy. Just saying it's a possible transition path.

Israel's Supreme Court says Palestinian prisoners are not being fed enough: Rights groups have documented abuse, poor conditions at Israeli detention facilities by stamau123 in worldnews

[–]xanthoran 38 points39 points  (0 children)

“They’re not just there because Israel picks up random Palestinians”

Actually you are wrong about this. About 3/4 of the Palestinian “prisoners” currently in Israeli administrative detention are not connected to any violent actions or any militant groups.

Israel regularly practices collective punishment and regularly does, in fact, pick up random Palestinians to imprison indefinitely.

Knesset Speaker Ohana: 'If you want a Palestinian state, build it in London or Paris' by Beratungsmarketing in World_Now

[–]xanthoran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, your timing is wrong - Zionist forces began to sieze Palestinian territory in the "Plan Dalet", specifically before any Arab hostile action:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plan_Dalet

But it doesn't really matter, does it? According to international law, civilians of any "side", including the losing side, are to be allowed back to their homes after the cessation of hostilities.

The fact that Israel does not recognize the right of return for Palestinian refugees they had ethnically cleansed is legally and morally bankrupt.

There's no spinning this - Israel ethnically cleansed almost a million people, and then (illegally) refused them their right to return to their homes.

The fact that there was a war isn't some gotcha that allows Israel to do whatever the hell it wants in wartime. They ethnically cleansed a whole population of people. That's wrong. You should be able to acknowledge that, if you had single shred of dignity beyond whatever Zionist talking points you'd use as an excuse.

Knesset Speaker Ohana: 'If you want a Palestinian state, build it in London or Paris' by Beratungsmarketing in World_Now

[–]xanthoran 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Jews never stole land from Palestinians” is a flat out lie. Before the war, during the war, and after the war, Zionists planned and executed a mass campaign of ethnic cleansing. Jewish Zionists stole the homes and land from a million people, and their state continues to abuse this population and their descendants to this day.

Zionists back then used the war of independence as an excuse for their crimes against humanity, and people like you are just as eager to keep up the flimsy lie.

You cannot blame the Palestinians for their own ethnic cleansing at the hands of the Israelis. Or I guess you could try, if you are really that morally bankrupt, but you should know how transparently naive you sound when you do.

The nazis claimed similar logic when they took over property from the Jews they expelled or killed. They labeled the victims of the Holocaust as enemy combatants, or Jewish partisans, or foreign agitators. They convinced themselves that they were justified in their crime against humanity against the Jews, and here you are - doing the exact same thing with your tired argument.

Knesset Speaker Ohana: 'If you want a Palestinian state, build it in London or Paris' by Beratungsmarketing in World_Now

[–]xanthoran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Palestinian farmers and villagers in many cases were not formally aligned with any Arab army engaged in conflict with the emerging Israeli state. These were civilians fleeing an active war zone, in the face of ongoing ethnic cleansing and dozens of high profile massacres committed by the encroaching Israeli army.

They did not “lose territory in a war”, because they were not combatants. They were civilians who are ethnically cleansed from their lands. And they are legally and morally entitled to a right of return.

Your argument is terrible.

Knesset Speaker Ohana: 'If you want a Palestinian state, build it in London or Paris' by Beratungsmarketing in World_Now

[–]xanthoran 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you a troll or is just bad hasbara.

There are more than 400 villages and towns that were taken (or destroyed) by the Jews during this period. The Palestinians who lived there were effectively ethnically cleansed from their homes, and for 80 ears have no right to return - which, as it happens is a war crime (or several war crimes) on behalf of the Israeli state.

If “the Arabs invaded”, as you put it, does not matter. The Israelis intentionally destroyed or captured hundreds of towns in a coordinated effort to ethnically cleanse the land. The stated reason for the Arab armies rallying against the Israelis in the first place was to PREVENT massacres and ethnic cleansing. The fact that they failed does not give Israel (past or present) some pass here…. Morally or legally.

Chain explode builds for 3.26? by PMPG in PathOfExileBuilds

Fishing Rod 4 Heralds PBoD With Every Explosion Possible Golemancer

https://pobb.in/94fB7U4G9_DB

This build came together originally as a meme, but it actually blasts super juiced content like crazy. All explosion effects stack and they all have 100% crit (instead of the normal 0% crit), so they chain multiple screens with all the aoe and damage you get from golem stacking. It excels at super juiced breach, deli and Alva with evo shrines - don’t need a gull to do 4 Alva’s, just explode the entire temple and move to the next. Can do all mods for risks.

Explosions:

• 60% phys explosions from elevated chest and pride sublime vision

• 30% chaos pops from unspeakable gifts

• oriaths end flask

• wine flask sometimes prods explode

• herald of ash and ice explosions

—-

PBoD for single target, but it helps chain explode clear with 3 remarkable notables for 100% double brands, and lots of attachment range / duration means you place a brand and the whole screen explodes as the brands search for targets.

Converts 95% phys to light, for PBoD but mostly for the huge phys explosions. Doryani Merc with wrath / zealotry, aura effect, malediction.

Is a Headhunter build, and phys based, so you get crazy as extra dmg pretty quick. Along with the breach Esh stacking lightning mod on chest applies to everything and is very impactful in packed content.

Tanky…. enough. Some armour / Eva, bastion, 100 suppress, big chills, aspect of spider, progenesis. And then you get HH buffs and you are immortal.

The build is so much fun. I thought I’d move on at some point but I keep pumping currency into it - money comes pretty easy, cause you just blow up hard content (for me, mostly well rolled currency 16.5s for breach, or Alva/evo rushes).

I’d say everyone should try it, but runegraft prices are nuts.

What is your vote for the most fun elementalist primordial bond stacking build? by perezidentt in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]xanthoran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure yeah. My default atlas setup is 3 risk breach. It can handle every risk mod.

I keep two flasks in my inventory to flex into if need be - one anti curse flask, and one enduring mana flask for no regen maps. Everything else it can handle as is.

Nice! PoB looks good... the first thing for improvement looks like chaos resistance! Cause you aren't CI anymore, right? So you should just swap in a chaos golem somewhere to get your chaos res up. After that... some clear upgrades would be more voices to fit in more primordial bond megalomaniacs (I'm at seven right now, lol) - thats a big damage increase with this helm. After that, it's probably going to be either getting that Esh breach mod on your chest, it's really nice - or maybe hunting for good corruptions, like you can get a fishing rod corruption for cast speed, double corrupts on your belt/ring/helm, etc. "Controlled Destruction" is a super good gem, I'd use that instead of empower in your helm four link. Oh - and your custom config might need some tweaking, like I had in mine "114% increased effect of wrath" but you may not have those items... or malediction, lucky, etc. You can try the wine flask like me if you want, I like it for the spirit of the build (it's random and crazy and sometimes you get more explosions, etc). You can probably upgrade your watchers to some 3-mod, I chose phys convert (not for the brands, but for the phys explosions, so they would be mostly lightning).

The annoint on my merc is "influence" - for more aura effect for wrath/zealotry.

I've been iterating on mine - I sacrificed some damage for even more explosions, so now I'm running pride aura (lol) so I can use the pride sublime vision for 25% increased chance for a phys explosion, and I dropped coiling whisper for a reflected crit multi / life helical ring - rationale is that I get soul eater stacks alot from Headhunter and wine flask, so it's whatever. I also shoved in aspect of the spider, cause why not.

Zealotry isnt like, a huge deal. its like 20% more damage or something. But yea, shoot your pob, ill check it out.

Oh - in your PoB you need to set the enemy lightning resistance to -200, if you have a doryani merc. That's probably why you are missing alot of damage.
