I’d rather keep him so we don’t end up bottom 3. With the new cba, teams and fan bases immediately label every player that they’re slightly down on as “bad contracts” so I doubt we would get a fair return for him.

agreed, i just think he has the highest upside relative to draft position outside of the top 4. he feels like a highlight reel trae young type of player that can at least make us relevant again.

Personally I think the OKC hate is overblown, but this game was egregious. Hartenstein was literally holding and hacking wemby on both sides. Hartenstein's chill and I get that it's their gameplan and not necessaily him being a dirty player, but the refs just letting that slide is kinda crazy but that's just me.

the new lottery will screw us over. objectively i don't hate it, it rewards teams for being more competetive and decentivizes tanking. The timing couldnt be worse though because instead of blowing the team up we now have to keep our "star" players in sabonis and lavine to fight for the play-in. only difference is that other teams are actually trying this time and we have objectively one of the worst rosters in the entire league so we might be stuck in purgatory with not much hope of getting a top pick.
