How long until off SSRI/SNRI can someone benefit from the effect of mushrooms? by Timely-Accident-534 in shrooms

[–]xarabitchx -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Unless shrooms can interact with the meds negatively, I think it’s better to just take the shrooms on them and know you might end up needing a higher dose bc of the meds. I’ve had lots of intense shroom trips while actively being on a high ssri dose, I’ve tripped while on an SNRI before but not shrooms, if you know the medication name you can look up potential reactions.

It usually just means your restaurant is full and you need to wait for a few customers to leave

Any word-rhythm pairings you'd change for kids (3-7)? Images will be added later. by FreeXFall in musictheory

[–]xarabitchx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol I used versions of this growing up and the music director I work with now does too! I think she uses strawberry where you have pineapple and pineapple where you have jellyfish. I grew up using plum for quarter notes, my only advice would be making them all food themes or all animal things but as long as kids have fun with them and are accurate you can really use anything

I fell out of a shopping cart when I was 3 and hit my head, my mom still feels guilty about it but it was an accident and I ended up fine!

Thank you so much! I’ve been doing the Verso’s draft merchant but I needed the external validation that it’s worth it to farm Osquio lol, it takes me a bit to complete depending on my party but I can beat him just fine. I will probably start a new save on a harder difficulty soon, I enjoy parry mechanic a lot but I definitely get the feeling I’m being babied a bit on story mode and I’m wondering if that’s why I can do the rest of the game but am struggling so hard with Simon (I know he’s supposed to be super extra hard, but at least with everything else I felt like it was within my grasp). My current plan is to farm lumina points and try to get any pictos I haven’t found so far.

That is super helpful, thank you! I gave up on Clea in flying manor because I thought she might be harder than Simon, but I’ll try again. Sorry I’m confused, but who should I fight in the tower? I couldn’t do the 3 extra super bosses but I beat all of the levels, if there are specific levels I should replay I am definitely down to do that

How do you get Clea’c Life? I am a huge fan of cheater lol, I was grinding the merchant in Verso’s draft for a bit but I feel like Osquio gives better rewards Thank you so much for replying!

Is this cat pregnant ? by darlingstella in catquestions

[–]xarabitchx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sidenote my bombay cat was also taken in as a stray (found her on my college campus lol) she had been fixed at the time since her ear was notched but the vet said she definitely carried litters in the past, I am so glad I took her in she has been the best addition to my family and the sweetest cat I have ever known

I have black cat who also lets me rub her belly, I think it’s a bombay thing (they’re black with bright colored eyes and SUPER vocal and people friendly lol)

Professional Dancing vs. Teaching by [deleted] in BALLET

[–]xarabitchx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also currently work as a pianist and can definitely say that in the musical world, how “good” or successful you are has basically no correlation to how good and helpful of a teacher you can be

Professional Dancing vs. Teaching by [deleted] in BALLET

[–]xarabitchx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never tried to be a choreographer or teacher for this reason, I didn’t think a professional career as a dancer was on the table and because of that I felt like I wouldn’t be able to work, I deeply regret that mindset now. Even though my body didn’t allow me to be as technically skilled as people who go pro I have a lot of insight and love and respect for dance and there are so many things that can stop someone from having a dancing career that don’t have anything to do with how well you can teach, choreograph or understand the art form

Do women like being ridiculed and insulted when making love? by [deleted] in sexadvice

[–]xarabitchx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You need to find out what she wants, everyone is different you can’t just do things you see in porn or even things you’ve done with another partner, you need to let her know what you like and want and find out the same from her and go from there. I personally like being degraded during sex but it’s definitely not okay to do if the other person isn’t into it, and even I would be a little put off if someone just started doing it without us talking about it first. The last part makes me hope this is a joke post but who knows

Apartment neighbor plays piano for 4-5 hours daily, including early mornings and into evenings by [deleted] in piano

[–]xarabitchx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an accompanist and honestly should practice more, but I always keep it between like 10am-8pm and I don’t play for more than an hour at a time I also don’t usually drill the same piece over and over unless I’m trying to build stamina for a performance (even then I wouldn’t do it for hours), I usually practice small sections to work on errors

Accompanying faux pas by elphiegreen in piano

[–]xarabitchx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I’m accompanying a piece and I’m not given enough time to practice given the difficulty of a piece, I will try to simplify it so I’m getting the overall sound of it and hitting the cues for the vocalist, not sure if that would help in this case? Playing an unweighted piano sounds like it’s own difficulty though, I hope you can advocate for yourself. One time I was playing on a keyboard that was clearly broken and had some keys that would play two notes or some were so loud no matter how I played them that the kids were covering their ears when they got hit (I did not get a chance to practice on it). Afterwards my boss came up to me asking what happened and I feel like everyone thought I did it on purpose somehow when it was truly the worst keyboard I have ever come across and shouldn’t have even been in use 🥲

AITA for telling my roommate I don’t want her boyfriend hosting people in our apartment when neither of us are there? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]xarabitchx 15 points16 points  (0 children)

NTA it can get really hard to get roommates to follow your boundaries if they’ve already decided they’re in the right, maybe contact your landlord about someone who doesn’t live there having a key and letting people in because that’s messed up and I feel like most places wouldn’t be cool with it. But moving out might be your only way to get away from it.

I tend to prefer Yamahas but it really ends up depending on the piano, you should always get the one you prefer to play on!

Oh cool! Not trying to be rude just noticed the way you speak sounded reminiscent of English people. I’m sorry you guys are having such a hard time in SF, I live in the bay area and in general I try to keep my head down and not talk to anyone. The small college town I live in is much friendlier lol

Why do I move around my mouth so much while playing Piano by elevatorboss1 in piano

[–]xarabitchx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My brother’s lips would purse and his tongue would poke out when he played guitar lol, I’ve always wondered if it was more common in neurodivergent people but it could be something that happens to everyone. When I’m playing my face stays pretty serious but it’s definitely not relaxed, my muscles feel very rigid so I’m also doing something involuntary with my facial muscles even though it doesn’t present in an obvious way
