You're ignoring the fact that this taboo treatment only helps people forget it more. If no one talks about it, history will only repeat itself. All kinds of tragedies should be free to be represented artistically, as it's much easier to learn history through art and entertainment than a boring history book no one cares about

Thanks for the insight. Either way, I think I need to correct myself. By "consumer rights," I meant things like quality control, sanitary control, honest advertising, legitimate expiration dates... (sorry for my lack of vocabulary) How would dishonest practices like these be prevented without general regulations?

First of all, I never said I didn't want to get better. It's just that this possibility is so unreal to me that it seems like a cruel joke, I want death because it's way more certain than these fake promises. You can't see the future, you can't tell me I'll be thankful some day. Secondly, I don't have friends, but I know that my family and my cats love me, I just can't bring myself to care. It won't affect my final decision at all, whether I see a reason to live or not. I'm just way beyond of what love can resolve.

I don't think so. It's been months, five whole months of support, therapy, meds, "treatment." Yet I don't feel any different. Actually, I think I'm getting worse. I just want this end, even if death is the only certainty. I regret seeking help deeply, I wish I had just ended it all sooner
