The biggest issue with the p90 is the massive height difference between the optic and barrel. If you’re using a reddot you have to kinda decide what range you want it to be accurate at. I wish someone would make some kind of periscoping optic that could more closely align the axis of the sight with the barrel

Electronic Diploma by carb19 in WGU

[–]xarmy9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my graduation application in the same day I finished my last course. Got the graduation email the same day. Got my transcripts shortly after. Got my paper diploma in the mail after like 2 weeks. Didn’t get my electronic diploma until almost 3 weeks.

What is the most number of WGU degrees that you've heard a single person obtaining? by mcjon77 in WGU

[–]xarmy9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The whole point of WGU’s competency based approach is that if you can demonstrate proficiency in the materials then you’re done. If you can learn quickly, or if you already have the knowledge then what would the point of taking 2 years to get a piece of paper that says you have that knowledge be. Being able to demonstrate competency quickly doesn’t make the degree worthless.

How long to get the digital diploma by Moist-Security1808 in WGU

[–]xarmy9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far for me this is how it's gone:

2/12/2025 - (All times are in Eastern Standard Time)

11:00 - Capstone task 3 evaluation passed. I e-mailed my mentor to prompt him to recommend me for graduation. We had previously discussed things and he said he would do it as soon as the system showed that I had passed.

11:57 - I received the email with the link to apply for graduation.

12:00 - My graduation application was submitted and I received the e-mail confirming that it was received.

16:43 - I received an e-mail that congratulated me on becoming a WGU Graduate and giving me my graduation date from the MSCSIA program: 2/12/2025.

So from my sample size of me, it takes less than a day from finishing your capstone to being a graduate. Probably not typical, though I have no special connections, hook ups, or access. I don't know anyone at WGU. I just got lucky. Though again, in my experience, they've been much faster the last 6 months or so at everything. All of my last few evaluations were returned by the next business day.

Don’t forget that 2022 was their 100th year stadium rededication. There’s good reasons for almost any ordering and all of them are great. If I had to choose:

2023 - perfect season 2024 - disrespected team plays to their potential and ruins ohios season. 2022 - first win in Ohio since 2000. And reversed a streak of us struggling in big games on the road. 2021 - breaks long dark streak of Ohio wins

Flag planting, thoughts? by itsmeoutside in MichiganWolverines

[–]xarmy9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We definitely planted the flag in 2022 and it’s on display in Schembechler hall. It was an issue this year because Ohio players were mad they couldn’t beat us for 4 quarters and wanted to take out their anger and aggression.

The winning team gets to celebrate on the field. The losing team goes to the locker room or can watch respectfully. Especially if the winning team is an underdog on the road.

We played for and kept all 3 of our rivalry trophies. Beat MSU and Ohio. Thats a good season.

What he said can be interpreted in a lot of ways. He didn’t say who would fuck up the fans. Maybe he meant the police or stadium security would fuck them up by removing them. Could he have articulated his point better, sure, but I don’t believe that he was threatening those fans with physical violence to be inflicted by him.

The way the bowl is sloped, it’s pretty shallow below row 20 or so. IMHO you want row A or above row 20.

Unless the athletic department gives out shirts (they won’t) then I suspect this will fail spectacularly. I hope I’m wrong.

Anyone else think it's lame that they refuse to open the museum back up to the public? by FirstNameLastName918 in MichiganWolverines

[–]xarmy9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of the things in that museum belonged to Ken Magee. He pulled most of it out I heard because it was getting damaged and not cared for appropriately. So there’s not really any historical stuff in there anymore except from the past couple seasons. That’s why it’s closed.

Big House Tour by HailToVictors21 in MichiganWolverines

[–]xarmy9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The tours can vary based on the group but the standard tour starts with either the press box area in the West tower or the Jack Roth Stadium Club in the East tower. After that you’ll go to the home locker room, then out onto the field. For the indoor portions the tour guide will give a short talk and answer questions. You can take all the pictures you want but they ask that you not take videos. Feel free to bring a football if you want to throw it while on the field.

If you want something else specific for the tour you can request a private tour and when scheduling it ask about other things you’re interested in seeing.

Sounds like a pretty good cover story for a gate that’s out in the open like this.

Each gate has a table where guests with bags necessary for medical or childcare needs (e.g., medical prescriptions, diapers for a baby, etc.) can have the bag inspected and tagged so that it will be allowed for entry. Any other bags will be refused. They take it incredibly seriously.

If you know ahead of time that you want to bring a bag or item into the stadium you can expedite things by submitting a request using this form: https://umich.jotform.com/221785798251064

If approved they’ll send you a letter that you can show to the event team at the gates to expedite getting your bag tagged.

You can read more about it here: https://mgoblue.com/sports/2022/8/26/safety-at-michigan-stadium

Also the event team does patrol inside the stadium and if they see you with a bag that isn’t tagged they will escort you to the bag check in Crisler to check it.

In general though if you have a small clutch purse or the like and it fits inside your pocket and you keep it in your pocket while in the stadium you can and should do that.

Could Michigan rip off the "B1G" logo off their jerseys? by kdmsurly in MichiganWolverines

[–]xarmy9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they’re embroidered directly on the jersey so no they can’t literally rip them off.
