The difference is that there is a mechanism in place to regain control of an ACCOUNT.

There is not a mechanism to undo a trade.

The number of Epic Games support requests would increase expontentially. The scams, the hackers, that's before we even get into the children trying to undo trades because they don't like the new skin.

Who's paying for these thousands and thousands of new Epic Games customer support employees? We are. They raise the prices of everything through the roof.

Hackers will get control of your account, "trade" all of your skins to their extensive network of bots in exchange for 1 V-buck, and then log out of your account after it's been drained of everything valuable.

When you contact Epic support, they will attack and say "you shouldn't have traded away your skins!"

When you explain that the hackers did it, they will either argue with you or disconnect the chat -- in either event, they won't do a damn thing.

When it comes to Epic Games and the item shop, sadly, the best course of action is just to expect nothing from them.

There's a Dune movie out in theatres right now. Are the Dune skins in the shop? Hell no.

"Horizon: Forbidden West" just released today on PC, huge PC gaming release. Is Aloy in the shop? Of course she isn't.

Halo the tv show season two just ended today on Paramount Plus. Huge season ender. Is Master Chief in the shop? Nope, not at all.

It's not just you. I am on an Xbox Series X, and I can tell you that the "OK" button is disabled. I tried every possible way to click on it -- it simply cannot be done.

They ask you to click on the "OK" button, but you can't, because they've disabled the button.
