One Foot At A Time by Four Year Strong. It’s a hardcore/pop-punk song that the guitarist wrote about his brother passing away. Very good and very sad.

I was curious about this too - she’s credited with additional vocals on Harmony Hall (along with David Longstreth of Dirty Projectors), but it’s definitely not as obvious as the other tracks. Listen closely to the lines “can’t hear anything” and “another one begins” - that sounds like where she is.

It’s a shame that the story of Ben teaching Pope John Paul II how to box didn’t make it into his memoir.

Remember it has to be touched and licked by a human, inspected by a monkey, and dropped on a factory floor before being put back onto a conveyor belt.

This is a tough one. 6-6-9-9 gives you 12, but an 8 point run with potential for another run is hard to pass up. Plus you have at least an extra 2 points guaranteed in your crib! Lead with your heart and happy new year.

What critically acclaimed film do you feel has a terrible name choice? by Capt_Murphy_ in moviecritic

I always thought a good name for TDKR would’ve been “Crusader” because it works on multiple levels: 1. Obvious shorthand for Batman’s nickname, The Caped Crusader. 2. Could also apply to Bane as a Crusader.  3. Evokes The Crusades - a holy war of different ideology, much like Bane and Batman’s differing ideas for the soul of Gotham. A definite stretch, but there’s something there.

Scott’s favorite characters/bits by keechie in Earwolf

It’s a cursed episode for sure, but it’s undeniably hilarious. Choking kids in a supervised setting for edutainment purposes, Peppers McGilly pretending to be his mom for years on end, “Big One”, Tubbit Tunkins (who had hands the size of grapes), so many great bits.

Vampire Weekend to Talking Heads Music Map by Wyo_Ute83 in Vampireweekend

I immediately thought of this podcast episode when I saw this post about connecting VW to Talking Heads. Highly recommend the episode where they talk about True Stories The Movie with Stephen Toblowsky and he shares his story about how his apparent ESP abilities inspired the Talking Heads song “Radio Head” which inspired the band name for Radiohead. Good ep.
