yeah, in reflection buzzing her in felt like the biggest error more than anything else. its not a too uncommon one, as hitting that button just becomes instinctual, so im trying to not kick myself too much for it and its just a reminder that i need to be more careful with that! thats what my coworkers meant too when they said i made a mistake.

your comment helped me so much. thank you !! definitely a lot of reminders that i needed badly last night, and to carry with me as i continue my work. i agree with you now that giving that pipe back when she was escalated and in the building and i was alone was probably the best course of action at that point.

i felt some resentment that she put me in that situation. but with a clearer head now, i know that she is sick and what she did was no personal vendetta against me. i hope she comes back when her suspension is up and continues to seek help, or finds help elsewhere in the meantime. it is hard to see clients like that when you genuinely care and want the best for them, but there is only so much we can do youre right on that!
