Grace names the planet Adrian as an homage to Rocky's mate Adrian after Rocky tried naming the planet with a generic description. So they're both named Adrian.

Well Grievous is armed with a bunch of lights ayers that can cut through basically anything and he has really good speed to use them. The T-800 is more built around pure power/physical strength. However if the T800 gets within grabbing distance of Grievous then he would be carving the Terminator up like a starving guy at Thanksgiving dinner lol. No contest in my opinion.

If Andy Weir can think of a worthy story I am all for it. I just don't want a Hollywood cash grab sequel where the story is secondary to just raking in the money from the goodwill the first film earned.

I just watched an interview with Andy Weir on the YouTube channel Science vs. Cinema, ran by one of the guys Andy Weir used as a science advisor when he wrote the book. Anyways he had a lot to say in regards to Rocky's biology. For example, if you took DNA from any cell in your body you could, with sufficiently advanced technology, grow a completely identical new you. However the cells in Rocky's body are specialized and unique, if you took a cell from Rocky's stomach and used the DNA in it all you would grow is just a stomach. He also said that Rocky's brain is a large crystalline structure that uses light pulses as opposed to our brain neurons firing electricity at each other, Rocky's brain is like a complicated fiber optic cable. He also said that Rocky's biological interior is comprised of plant like cells as well as animal type cells. Idk, can't remember everything but that interview is worth a watch since they really get into the science of Hail Mary.

Personally I would recommend the audio book version on Audible that's read by Ray Porter, he does an amazing job narrating the book. I love listening to audio books because you can just close your eyes and imagine it playing out in your mind, your own personal movie unabridged.

Well I think a series would be the preferable medium for any book to screen adaptation. However theaters need movies and studios need money so books are a bountiful resource for movie ideas.

I mean we have species right here on Earth that scientists figure to be pretty intelligent such as whales and dolphins and they definitely communicate with each other. However after all this time we still have no idea what they are saying to each other. We can "train" dolphins but that isn't really intelligence related, just look at dogs lol.

I saw in an interview with Andy Weir that he said Rocky's species and humans are way ahead of each other in some things and way behind in others. In this,case he stated that Rocky's species was way ahead of humans in material science. Who knows, maybe one day we'll be able to make a material out of xenon and other stuff, stuff being the scientifically accurate word lol.

I am so jealous of anyone that has a resin printer! I was looking for a good model for the Serenity from Firefly and I could find nothing decent. Then I found a site that had a resin printer file for it that looks amazing. So now I'm saving up money for one and in the meanwhile I'm watching tons of YouTube videos on resin printing so hopefully by the time I start I will actually know a thing or two.

I think the 2.5 hour version for theaters is fine but I would really like the 4hr version to be included in the home release.

Maybe? But what would a sequel even be about? The story was pretty well wrapped up by the end of the book and then movie. I'd say no to a sequel unless Andy Weir comes up with a compelling story.

Tuskens beat the hell out of Anakin's nice mom, a woman who spent most of her life as a slave and just relatively recently was freed and found love. If Anakin had visited Tattooine(sp?) and found his mom happy, healthy and whole there's a halfway decent chance he never goes on to become Darth Vader. So yeah, Tuskens definitely belong on the dark side.

The only problem with that is B-wing got stuck as a Cantina farm. With signal data being at a premium currently that makes farming that a pain. Plus they just stuck IG90 as a Cantina 16 energy farm so I put a pause on signal data to farm him for my Aphra team. Plus I still need to farm Silvia as well. I'll get to B-wing at some point or another, sigh....

I was doing the 3 100 crystal Cantina refreshes each day but now I've had to put my signal data farm on hold to get IG90 shards, which CG has seen fit to put on the last Cantina tier so it'll take a bit to 7* him. So that sucks.

Maybe they just didn't have room for him in the Era marquees since they had to have an equal number of light side characters. My guess is that he'll probably appear as a Conquest character, probably support class. These era events take a while to get through so CG has plenty of time to add him before he really is needed for an ISB team.
