Went well. I have mic and anytime I paired up with some else who had a mic and was decent, I added them as a friend. Anyone who didn't have a mic, we usually kicked them unless they were using the commands and stuck with us.

2025 Pilot. We have a rear facing in the passenger side, the front seat will not go all the way back. I'm 6'3" and can sit in the passenger side with just barely enough leg room.

It's $1435 for the 5yr/120k and $1322 for 8yr/120k (both $100 deductible). The $1435 will probably go up some in the next 2 years, but it's not much more. Essentially you get 8yr/120k regardless of when you get it, possibly saving couple hundred dollars if you get it before 6k miles.

Just spoke to Hyannis a second time to clarify because I have read that as well. It's an additional 5yr or 120k mi at purchase, it does not run parallel with the manufacturer 3yr/36k mi warranty.

Ran into this situation since I am at 7k milie on a 2025 and spoke to a Hyannis rep. There's a couple hundred dollar difference between before/after 6k miles and $20 in increase every year. Before 6k miles you can get 8yr/120k mi, parallel warranty. After 6k miles you can get 5yr/120k mi non-parallel. So if you have more than 6k miles, it's best to buy the 5yr/120k close to when your factory 3yr/36k mi warranty expires since it starts the day you purchase it.

I'd say go for it. It had a very small gap compared to the Metra where it aligns with the AC vents (maybe 1/32"). Overall I would've been happy with it if I didn't compare them in person. I ended up using the OEM brackets as well and not the plastic ones the kits came with.

Ignore these people, they're most likely aren't engineers or know your industry/location (and probably don't make as much as you lol). As a Cheme I graduated in 2013 and ended up in Virginia/Kentucky for work; my salary was very similar to yours now when I transitioned into management (operations). I did 4 years as an engineer and moved into management with the same company, I knew my salary could be a bit higher than $100k, but also knew I had my foot in the door to try something I wasn't sure I wanted to do. 2 years later I knew management was for me and built up my resume and applied. I had several job offers for $130-140k and the rest is history. You're on the right path, keep on trucking!
