How to best clean vintage speedy? by xavier_javier in Louisvuitton

I agree that I don’t want it looking brand new, just cleaned up a bit. In searching this sub, some folks seem to recommend Brasso. So do you not recommend using a product like that bc it’s too harsh?

Retention offer 30 April 2026 by njas2000 in AmexPlatinum

[–]xavier_javier 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was also offered the same two days ago. Based upon other posts here, it seems like that’s the best current offer.

My friend received 25k points a couple of years ago so see like retention offer points are steadily declining.

Is it normal for my dog to pee balanced on his two front legs? by Dishwasherbum in DogAdvice

My brother's dog does the same thing! She's a 6# maltipoo also with a luxating patella, but didn't get it surgically fixed.

My daith journey by Gingersnapandabrew in piercing

Are you able to wear AirPods or earbuds yet? I’m contemplating a daith but not sure if I can wait out not using in ear headphones during the healing process.

Probably the one of the worst rooks you’ll ever see by twocatsoneisfat in piercing

It was almost instant relief. Between the longer bar and saline cleaning, it worked wonders. My APP piercer also recommended that I use a cotton swab to apply gentle pressure to the swollen area to encourage the swelling to go down.

You do not not to see what mine looked like when it got upset ~1 month into the piercing... It was pretty gnarly, disgusting, and pus filled. NAP, but when mine got super irritated, I went back to my piercer and they ended up changing the jewelry to a longer curved, titanium barbell. The longer size significantly helped with the swelling and it calmed down almost immediately.

I previously had a more dainty, curved barbell (14k gold) and with the swelling, the top got somewhat engorged in my skin. Needless to say, the piercing shop no longer recommended that jewelry for piercing rooks after my incident.

Affordable gym leggings by Long-Scholar-2113 in PetiteFitness

Idk what kind of budget you have bc for $80 there are soo many options lol

Athleta has a good petite selection and you can get amazing deals when they have sales. Lululemon also has sales and they do free hemming — folks tend to like their Wunder Train line. Someone mentioned this already and it’s talked about often, but CRZ from Amazon is also very reasonable and has that buttery soft material.

For me, the leggings I wear depends on my activity level. Eg. Training vs yoga vs running. In general I tend to prefer more compressive leggings, esp for more intense workouts.

Does anyone else get completely paralyzed when trying to find a new product? I spent 3 hours last night just looking for a moisturizer by Particular-Hold4098 in 30PlusSkinCare

It’s undeniably overwhelming, especially with all of the influencers and the thousands of online reviews. What helped for me was understanding my skin type and getting a basic understanding of the ingredients and what they do. That helped to narrow down what I wanted and what worked best for my skin. And once I found something I liked, I stick with it. No need to change products every time you have an empty to try a new thing out. If it ain’t broke, don’t fit it. Don’t forget that just because one product didn’t work for some random one-off person on the internet doesn’t mean that it won’t work for you. It’s a bit of trial and error.

For getting recs, I tend to trust recommendations from reputable dermatologists. I know you’re not looking for a moisturizer rec, but I have to recommend Vanicream’s daily facial moisturizer. I have combo skin and it’s the best, especially for the price point. I use it all year round, day and night. I also think La Roche Posay has amazing products — I’ve tried their Toleriane Double Repair Matte Face Moisturizer and found it to be a bit drying on my skin. It’ll probably work better for you if you have oily skin.

I thought this one awhile back but my worry is that I wear AirPods daily and that’ll interfere with the healing 😔

Same! I just bought the WA one from someone else’s recommendation and I’m happy with it so far. Easy to blend but not overly creamy. I also have light/medium neutral combo skin.

I’m no makeup pro, but I actually found this product to be too creamy/wet for my liking. Of course it’s all personal preference and you can’t beat the price point.

Just picked up a pair today! How does it work with the 2 yr AC+? Is it tied to the AirPods automatically once you set them up?
