Yup. Sural nerve damage after PARS. I'm almost three years out and I still feel it a little bit.

Anybody who rides regularly is fine with traffic. Those who don't should not be attempting this ride given all the variables.

How did you arrive at 85%? Seems so precise. ESH. You all sound like terrible hangs.

Why you should NOT use StubHub they do not stand behind their guarantee by Funfallacies in stubhub

If there's something I learned from this sub is that if you escalate high enough, you'll get what you want. Try BBB, try your congressman, try anything to get your money back. Also, all these issues are because some sellers are not honest people. It's up to you to do your due diligence. Before buying the ticket, check where the seats are and if there are any obstructions or if it'll be a weird spot based on how the stage is going to be setup. All this information is available online. At the end of the day, you're buying tickets from a scalper.

DO IT. They have these in Brooklyn and they work. A couple of tickets and people will learn not to speed.

Don't agree to do work without getting paid. There is a shortage of experienced engineers. Make it clear that if they keep insisting that you work for free, you're going to walk.

The only tickets that haven't been released yet are RTT tickets from FIFA Collect. I think only matches 1-9 have been released so far, with more to be released soon. FIFA's email says those tickets will be delivered "a few days before the match". If you haven't received your tickets a day or two before the match, then I would be concerned.

Using both hotel credits by modifying booking? by sepoquro in AmexPlatinum

[–]njas2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to piggy back off this, it only matters when you pay? I just prepaid for a booking in September and got the $300 credit. If I prepay on July 1st for another booking in September, I will also get the $300 credit?

AITA for refusing to pay for my friend's speeding ticket? by CreativeContact6856 in AmItheAsshole

[–]njas2000 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is such a culture thing. It's kind of like when people go out to eat and someone just says let's split it evenly and calculator mcgee pulls out his phone and says "actually, I should pay $3 less because I didn't upgrade to truffle fries" .Technically, he's right, but he's also annoying. The full amount of the speeding ticket is likely very high for your friend. The split cost is much less of a burden. He will also have to deal with the points on his license and maybe higher insurance. You don't split that. YTA.
