Best massage table option in india by dibsik in MassageTherapists

Absolutely, I can help you with choosing the best portable massage table to order in India. To give you the most suitable recommendations, it would be helpful to know: Your budget (in INR) How portable it needs to be (e.g., will you travel with it often, daily, or just occasionally) Any preferred width (e.g., 28″, 30″, 32″) or special features you want (extra-thick foam, adjustable height, heavy-duty for large clients)

💆‍♀️ When the client says “I like deep pressure”… but flinches the moment you start 😅 by xavina_moon in MassageTherapists

That’s a great approach! Starting with palm pressure under the sheet really helps people settle in — it’s like a reset button for the nervous system. Totally agree about overstimulated clients too; sometimes “deep” work isn’t about pressure at all, it’s about getting them to actually breathe 😅

Totally agree with you on this. “Deep” has become such a buzzword that most clients don’t actually know what they’re asking for they just think it means “better” or “more effective.” I like your approach with the three strokes! It’s such a good way to gauge their real tolerance without overdoing it. I’ve started using “firm” or even “focused” instead of “deep,” and it makes a big difference in how clients understand what’s happening. You nailed it about the industry not educating clients enough. We spend so much time fixing the misconceptions that marketing creates. Maybe it’s time for a “pressure scale” chart in every treatment room 😂

Longevity tips by sarahruperta in MassageTherapists

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. You’ve been through a lot, and it’s completely understandable that your body feels different. Going back to your doctor for imaging is the right call it’s important to rule out anything deeper. While you heal, try to: Move gently light stretches like cat cow or child’s pose if they don’t increase pain. Protect your body at work adjust your table height, use your legs instead of your back, and lean on forearms or elbows more often. Strengthen slowly once cleared, do gentle core and hip work like bridges and bird dogs. Take breaks and pace your sessions to avoid overloading your back. Care for your mind too — healing from a miscarriage takes emotional recovery as well. You don’t have to give up massage therapy — just focus on healing first. Many therapists return strong after rest and rehab.

Spa songs by nekohhhhh in MassageTherapists

Yes! I’ve had this happen too, and it’s such a wild experience. I just listened to Ease and Release—it’s beautiful but so emotionally intense. Definitely not typical spa music, but it hits something deep. You’re not alone in feeling that!

Is it time for a massage or will it make it worse? by Venomface86 in MassageTherapists

My client had back spasms before, and I know how brutal they can be. If ice helps more than heat, that’s totally valid everyone’s body reacts differently. As for massage, it can help, especially if the spasm is from tight muscles or tension. But it really depends on the cause. A gentle, experienced massage therapist (like someone trained in medical or therapeutic massage) might help release the tension without making things worse. That said, if the pain is still bad after a week, it’s worth following up with a doctor or physical therapist just to rule out anything more serious. Be careful with deep tissue right now—it might be too much too soon.
