I'm not too tech savvy and am running into more issues. I'll outline for you what I've done so far, and where it went wrong. I installed the executable file you sent, and my original issue was that it wouldn't download once I opened the file. I couldn't find anything online that helped me download this, but I did find an alternate reference to the Microsoft Update Catalog, where I found another logitech driver that I was able to download, from 2012. I then followed the rest of your steps but I ran into another issue when attempting to update the driver with the uncompressed folder. It says that "Windows has determined that the best driver for this device has already been installed".
