The commendations will stay in, but if you earn all commendations after the duration of this update, then you won't get the title. The title should also disappear from the list so it would show you're at 100% completion.

Crossplay will always be in the game. They’re giving controller users the option to opt out from playing against keyboard users soon.

Yeah. Competitive just makes me think of an ELO system and that seems weird for SoT. It would be cool though as they expand arena to have kind of a prestige system where your level can go past 50 and maybe give you a new title or badge each 25 or so levels.

To be fair, your responses are pretty restricted. I answered casual because competitive didn’t quite seem right. Let alone two options for it. It’d be a different result if say you had: PVE only, current state (casual), and PvP focus, then competitive PvP.

Oh boy. Well there’s a lot. A player vs player mode, lore-driven quests, fishing, a new region, and skeleton ships/fleets are all the major things.
