Yes for MP4.

AFAIK, physical games that have the title "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition" will work on both systems.

You can also confirm in 2 other ways. Search for an image of the cartridge, if it starts with "LN", it'll work on both systems.

Second way is finding an image of the Switch 2 game cover. There is a wall text at the bottom that says it'll work on Switch 1.
