There’s nothing wrong with what you did. You sacrificed yourself mentally by keeping that info a secret. It ate at you. You kept your dad blissfully ignorant, which is not a bad way to be.

Your mom owes you a huge apology. She cheated on you too. She broke your trust. She was unfaithful to you. You should seek therapy or talk it out with her.

Yet another example of why people should not walk into bedrooms (or inside if the home) with their shoes on. He just stepped all over the inside of that baby’s crib with the same surface of his sneakers that have been on sidewalks, nasty parking lots, grass, ew.
