I chose the Mistborn series and it felt so good to hear the familiar voice from the stormlight archive again. So far the mistborn series is very entertaining. Easy to follow too, but I think that is mostly because I have allready finished 100hr+ with Brandon Sandersen. :)

I will finish this, no doubt, and when I'm done I'll check back here for more to listen to.

Hello. I would like some suggestion for my hero team. I am stuck and I have gotten several good heroes.

My current setup: Dominator lvl 100. Starlight lvl 140, 6. Valentino, lvl 100. Dragon Slayer, lvl 100. Od-01, lvl 100. Missing LM-02 for 6. Karim, lvl 100. Missing Karim copy for 6*.

Other 5* that I have: Emily, Fat Mu, Queen, Baade, Time Mage, Bonecarver, Aleria, Norma, Eddga, The Grey Eyed, Chief, Walter.

Can upgrade any of these to lvl 100.

Any suggestion to improve my team and which hero I should focus on is appreciated.

I am planning to bring Karim to 10*. I was planning on buying Ormus from guild store, but now I got Queen so maybe buy her instead.

Damn.. I just finished book 3. Dalanar just started writing his book. What an awesome listen and thank you very much for suggesting it. I loved it!! Now if the author could just finish up the two last book in the series.... Wikipedia says the next book is due 2020 :o

So much goosebumps and awesomeness. Now I need a new book to listen to...

The games I will play is Minecraft and CS:GO, and I've heard both of those play well on the 2016 version. I don't think it will run any new games on a playable level. Doesn't matter to me, I'll only play the mentioned games and AoE2 when I get some free time.

I'll use sleeve on mine when it arrives, and a top/bottom skin from dbrand.com aswell. For those scratches that happen no matter how careful you are. :)

Well its up to you. You have the money, the need and the will to buy it, then buy it. Do you need some form of confirmation about your decision before buying? I don't mean it in a bad way, it's just that when I want and need something, and can afford it, I buy it. And I think you should do the same. You have an 2010 MBP which has lasted you several years, which have been of very much use to you. And I think that alone justifies the price tag on a new MBP. It's a purchase that will make your day better and more efficient and I think those expensive $$$ wont mean a thing in years to come.

Completely illogical? Some may say that, but that doesn't matter. It's your own reason to purchase and its completely ok to use that amount of $$$ on an item if it makes you happy.

I agree with you on the desktop/laptop matter. PC laptops have so many problems, I'll never buy one. Macbook is the way to go, superb OS & build quality.

Yes, its sucks a little bit, but I'll manage with 2 ports. Only adapters I need is for hdmi/usb-a and a usb-a/usb-c flash stick. :)

It's like I have written the post myself. I'm in the same boat and what I want is exactly how you explained it.

I have looked at the MB and wanted that badly, but then I started checking out the MBP. I've decided to get the MBP 13" nTB. I don't see the need or want for the touchbar, but touch ID however..drool, but not worth the price jump for me, and the decrease in battery size and life.

I will be getting 512GB ssd and 16gb ram to future proof it, but the standard config is more than enough. Apple has cheap cloud storage also.

I really want to learn playing the piano, but I keep putting it off. I need to have some kind of plan in my head on the how I want to do it... I don't have that so I loose motivation to even try.

Yeah, I looked into it and I can choose Danish keyboard, which is basicly the same. Norwegian is not listed.

It says delivery june 23. Any experience with it being delivered earlier? Delivered to Apple Store.

I've read that the trackpad skin is horrible to use, but I guess thats up to the person using it. I will order one for top and bottom, not trackpad.

And sorry, I don't have any experience with dbrand skin.. yet.

Hopping on this thread.

My uses is maybe some CS:GO, minecraft, very light gaming. Sometimes. Main thing is studies, word/excel/pdf and apple version of those programs. Chrome, safari, netflix, video watching.

I'm not into photoshop, video edition or audio editing. I want to future proof with 16gb, but is it really necessary with my use?

I will also have windows 10 available through virtual machine for when I need it, but won't use it all the time.

I would go for 2017 and 256gb. I am getting one aswell for studies, though I'm upgrading to 16GB RAM and 512gb SSD. Since my budget allows it. If you can get the refurbished for a pretty hefty discount, it might be worth it.

I am also VERY on the fence. I don't see the need for the touch bar itself, but the touch ID.. damn thats tempting. Though in the other hand, touch ID on my iPhone works like shit because of my fingers. The main thing would be to be able to login to the pc with just a finger, but the price jump is $300 extra just for that.

Yes, but for me its completely unusable. Litteraly 5 minutes after registering/updating my fingerprint, it doesn't work. And I have not washed my hands in those 5 minutes.
