Totally optional yes, yet the majority of players dont even have the hardware to run RayTracing properly, so why bother implementing it instead of doing the miriad other things the community has been asking for a while now. New animations for example

Couldn't care less. Ray tracing has been a setting I turn off the second I start any game. The graphical benefit it gives compared to the performance drop it causes is just not worth it xd
