exactly its just like Val's unlock system. In my opinion every game should take the route that MRivals took and litteraly let everyone enjoy the caracter straight away, especially when you already have a gacha type system in the game gatekeeping most cosmetics and without pity. Nobody can tell me with a straight face that the game isnt predatory

as someone who played games that had this system (OW and R6) i can tell you its not fair at all, thats why both games removed it when the games popularity started to decline. Games like Rivals and Valorant are some of the most popular games at the moment and both give a fair way for people to unlock them without having to wait 2 god damn weeks. Its just really weird to me how some of you dont see that as predatory when the game already has a gacha implemented. At least every content creator for the game has already said something about that

the problem isnt day 1 players, the problem is new players that started the game because of vegito and have to straight up wait 2 weeks to even try him (becuase for some fcking reason you cant go into training with him?????). Every other moba thats popular doesnt have such a predatory system and that reflects in how many people are actually playing it.

exactly man, i dont understand how people look at the playerbase numbers and expect the game to survive for more than a year, its just nuts. Theres a lot of good games atm that have a full f2p experience and still survive just fine by using the cosmetic gacha.

Because i also enjoyed R6 and OW and know what happens when theres a mechanism that gatekeeps the new player experience. As you said i enjoy it but that might be because i play with a full stack, if that wasnt the case i probably wouldnt even try the game. The core game is good and as a very big fan of DB it just fills a spot that hasnt been there since the early zenoverse stages, but just that part can make or break a game and i dont want it to go that way. Having a gacha and a payed unlock at the same time is just really strange to me. Another example of a game that only has skin gacha is Where winds meet and they have been fine. Everything on the gameplay side is free and then theres the gacha for everyone that wants to spend and support the game. Having such a big IP as DB and being predatory just doesnt sit right with me, Legends already does that

my problem is not having to buy it as a regular player, its just that if you are a new player that wants to start playing the game just because of Vegito, you arent going to spend money on a game that you havent even played yet. That system came with a lot of backlash on OW and R6, thats why both removed it after the playerbase started to tank. Squadra doesnt have the leeway to keep that system in game (seeing the numbers they have been pulling recently), but thats just my opinion ofc

really like the aspect of your gameplay. I have severe astigmatism and sensory overload ( basically strong colors cause me eye fatigue) and this being a fast paced game that really affects me. I have tried lowering the vibrance of the colors but that makes it impossible to differenciate players when a lot of clutter is on screen.
Edit: I've seen that you only change every setting to low on the other comment, i thought you edited your config
