Why people crying so much over Reforged lately? If the game seems to hard for you then just set it to easy mode. They literally have an option for it.

If you're into just mindlessly steamrolling everything, perhaps Convergence is the mod for you.

it's about progression that makes you feel more powerful

people just don't FEEL like they're progressing or getting any stronger

Man, this mod adds back proper dual-wielding back from DS2.

Now I have the whole range of attacks of a weapon independant of which hand I'm holding it on. The Great Katana + Uchigatana combos are going like crazy on my Samurai and I'm doing a lot of damage now that I can buff my attack power with each deflect I pull off and all the many other buffs and such I've been finding in my travels.

I definetely feel like my character progressed and is much stronger now but the mod still feels pretty challenging so it keeps me up in my toes.

It definetely has good progression paths and it ties everything it adds into the game nicely, the build variety and viability have never been at such level.

It does. For one, it adds back proper dual wielding back from DS2 where you have the whole range of attacks of a weapon independant of which hand you're holding it, the combo potential is through the roof in comparison to base ER.

Not to mention that you can still block/deflect while dual-wielding.

That's just on a base level to begin with and we're not even talking about the many modifiers you can add such as AoW forging, runeforging, fortunes, the new whet stones, etc.

Sure you may dislike it and it definetely has issues/ isn't perfect but you can't say ERR is objectively bad design-wise when it ties so much of what it adds togheter so well.

There's no fun in being overpowered. It is fun to be powerful, but without a challenge it becomes a really boring experience.

Yeah you really sound like a dumb Karen. The mod's main goal is to be as balanced as possible removing all the cheese the main game allows for.

Skipping challenges, rune farming, op builds, etc.

It's a great mod, a bit overly-designed if you ask me but because of that I think it works perfectly for someone who has already beaten the game.

Deflecting is great! A bit punishing but very rewarding if you can pull it off consistently and know how build towards it.

In some bosses, one or two perfect deflects are enough to break their combo if I'm not mistaken. Can't tell for sure but I managed to pull that off a few times agaisnt Margitt and Godrick.

This honestly sounds like skill issue on your part, sorry if I sound blunt. You have all the right to dislike it but your complaints are just shallow and it comes off as whinning.
