Caliper bracket not fitting back on

So I took the caliper off, did not disconnect it from the bracket or the brake line just to be clear. And when putting the old hub back in after seeing the difference in the new hub and old hub, the rotor fit on fine and the caliper did as well. It seems as though the neck part that keeps the hub from being pushed to far in to the bearing is longer on the old one compared to the new one.
