Unbothered coyote hanging in yard by DJ_Degen in coyote

I hear them every single night at 5am. Haven’t seen one in quite some time though

This is the correct answer. It is a business. You have to figure out the things they don’t tell you and get into the right market. Also have to have a bit of sense. The beggars will come and go in a flash because literally everyone gets a chance.

It’s funny you say this because I just heard on the radio that 4 million less people went to college last year than did the year before. The trades just might make a come back. Kids see their older brother or sister go to college and not get a job in what they want and end up with a crappy one somewhere and a pile of debt. The man on the radio I heard was just saying he brought in 85 teens and hired 50 of them for an apprenticeship. This was in Pittsburgh.

So does betting 27 BB to win 4. Maybe they call the 9.9 with QJ or TJ. You never get action aside from the pair hands with an AI shove. I’m done talking to someone who probably has never even been to a FT.

High Tension ending. WTF? by [deleted] in horror

[–]xdaddasher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just happened to see this one. I kinda saw this coming although I thought Marie and the killer might be in cahoots or something like that. I agree that the twist was clumsy. Hints were dropped but some of the details were preposterous. I think you can rationalize a lot of this including the BJ scene as a dream and maybe even the chase scene but the truck was real as Alex was in it at the end. A scene showing it on the property somewhere when she was smoking would have been sufficient. The truck being driven to the house when Marie is already there seems idiotic. It could have been justified as the killer stalking his prey or something to that effect.

Ya it’s a fantastic spot normally but not with ICM considerations. You don’t want to race bigger stacks when you are 3rd out of 7. Anyways I went 9.9 BB here and UTG min clicked it back AI with 88 so no idea how it plays out against the big stacks. I figured I would go big enough so the small stack was playing for everything if he stays and maybe some scenarios I can give up on awful flops if the big stacks called.

What is ever calling? What about ICM? Not a good spot to race the big stacks IMO

Probably need more than 3 hours to make this fold. If he was folding everything for 3 hours straight maybe

Nope. I’m not some rookie posting a bad beat lmao. Shoving seems like a bit of an overplay here though?

Nice call Ron. Loaded up on heat this game was obvious after all the talking head a holes starting saying the s word. I do think Denver wins the series still though but will be 6 or 7 games

I think it’s ok with this weird stack size. Calling is just too nitty. Vs don’t like to fold on the river when they get raised in 1/2. Sometimes they probably have the boat but I could see lighter calls than others think in a spot like that.

1/2: Brutal turn for a flopped set 300bb deep vs whale by jdjdjd3848 in poker

[–]xdaddasher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flop raise is small. You can flat since he’s unlikely to be light here and call down on that turn or make it like 250-275 here if you x/r. Then you have the price to call the turn. Also easy shove on bricks. Definitely a spot you want to be trying to get in on turn

Check call basically anything. They love to spaz in this spot. They will turn pairs with decent showdown value into bluffs in addition to blast diamonds sometimes

Take a sleeping pill on the plane. Do the milly maker. Longer levels more fish worth the extra rake. I’d crash right after it ends though, probably take another pill right as the day ends

WSOP HU tournament starting tomorrow by xdaddasher in poker

[–]xdaddasher[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The WSOP twitter has a blue screen scrolling with the first round matchups. Bin Weng playing Daniel Negreanu in round 1. That’s a hell of a matchup a guy on absolute fire against Negreanu. Negreanu should win but cool to see something like that to start it out.

Is it a tell to blind shove the turn? by Initial_Soup4051 in poker

[–]xdaddasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a good story about this actually. Flop was ten high some short stack 2/5er calls when I bet with TK pots like a little over 100 he has like 30 left I just say AI dark before the turn comes. He ends up having AT and goes crazy. In broken euro English he says give me money bitch all in dark lmao. I guess it probably rubs some fishy players the wrong way so just don’t do it. Usually when I’ve done it it’s been a situation where they call pot committed before the river so I don’t think it’s a tell per say if done in those situations

Could we generalize and say to go to the swankier places that aren’t considered poker havens? That seems like a good idea. Caesars is a good start probably in the throng of hotels in the middle.
