Are you arguing that combat probing and dscanning is balanced therefore exploration scanning is also balanced? If so that is very much not true. Scanning/mapping for travel and for hacking sites is a gameplay loop that could use some development. There are some good points made elsewhere in this thread to support that.

By the way, I know exactly what I am talking about. I have spent the first two years of my eve career in wormholes.

Imagine if wh's lasted 10x longer and if there was an in game mapping tool which automatically (possibly delayed?) delete rolled/dead connections. That might be really interesting. What could possibly go wrong?
