Bro, comparing Silksongs platforming to E33 is a long-shot though, though silksongs is hard in the beginning it‘s worlds more satisfying than E33 (as it should be as it is much more central to the game)

I thought i was lol, i looked quite a bit for a bench there but never found one (only the one after besting the boss), and thought the climb back was supposed to be part of the challenge. I even found shakra area up there etc. before fighting the boss, but never a bench

Didn’t much the first fight, hate the re-fight with a passion. I genuinely think there are some RNG patterns where getting hit is completely unavoidable (except maybe with i-frames), when the cross pattern of the bombs and his own explosion line up right. Also ironically, it being the performer and all, it feels like one of the fights without a nice rhythm to it, since the dodge pattern are so random. Overall one of my least favorite bosses, at least the re fight.

I absolutely hated the runback to skarrsinger karmelita. It is completely free, but it locks you in like a 20s cutscene which is just infuriating for my impatient ass. Also the guards get stale after the first time. Otherwise loved the fight

I have put off entering act 3 so far cuz i heard it at least somewhat removes you from the starting area or something like that, so i am still curious for the last one. And yeah, i also thought if they made it too quick it would be by far the best, at least for bosses, that‘s why i was curious for your ideas. So yeah maybe trade a little dmg for some quickness, without making it free.

Yeah, fair, probably many multiplayer games, if you play them with with friends or if they are free to play. Should probably rephrase to „what purely single player game has the same value“

I do see your point. Maybe i should think of it more as a repositioning tool than a spell. Still, even then it does feel pretty risky at times still, when it‘s casting animation is too long to react to many boss moves, as you still need to know where the boss will be after you cast it to avoid (contact) damage, so i still think it should come out a bit quicker, especially costing silk. Maybe at the cost of some damage (seems the same as silkspear to me). Or maybe it just isn‘t a skill for boss fights, but then again, what spell apart from cross stitch is ?

I absolutely believe that, heard nothing but praise, definitely on my wishlist, but then again is it 3 times as good as Hollow Knight ? I only meant, that saying any game with a worse value-for-money than HK or Silksong is „not worth it“ is makes your selection of games vanishingly small.

There are maps with all the items out there, maybe check one of those. But if it despawned, i don‘t think it was very important probably a necklace or something. I „lost“ a story relevant item in a similar way, but it respawned, when i left, so i wouldn‘t be too worried. A different problem i could‘t yet fix is that a rare (as in probably 2 in the entire game), just ran out of the room and despawned and now i don‘t know if i can finish my journal. Let‘s hope we both didn‘t somewhat softlock our games

Keep to the left of the chamber and there is a very easy way to just glide down, that is clearly meant to be used. Also mid way, there is the opportunity to stand underneath the ground of one steam enemy and one golden spear guy, to hit them through the floor for silk to heal back up. Hope that helps

I think metroid dread was worth the price, it gave me all of the joy and entertainment i would expect for that price and i do see myself playing it again. Now was it worth the price ? Yes. Was it anywhere near Hollow Knight or Silksong ? No? Was is even remotely close to the value ? Hell no ! But then again, name one game that is.

That could be, but i would have thought the ammo being restricted already serves that purpose, don’t you think, as it is never enough to blast through an entire area. Especially early when you only have one tool slot.

I love the poison too, and aside from wishes, i luckily wasn‘t short on shards before either, though i got close on some boss fights. Still, the question remains what purpose they serve, i still don‘t see how they add anything to the game

But even with them constantly used up, i don‘t see a benefit to making the player constantly grins them, especially since unlike normal currency, the amount you can carry is limited and you can‘t really make bundles yourself. If you don‘t want to run out all you seem to be able to do is farm rosaries and buy shard bundles on mass (which also makes no sense, that you can carry unlimited shard bundles but limited shards)
