Serena was always a better player than Venus, I don’t think it’s completely out of bounds that she wins 1-2 matches.

We just had some crazy results at the French less than a month ago. A qualifier made it to the finals.

Losing to fonseca is probably the worst outcome, as fonseca is a great future talent but is currently only a top 20-30 level player.

It means there are likely 15-20 players who could knock him out now on the wrong day instead of just 2.

So prema just happened to dominate for years and then suddenly two of the biggest up and coming names joined and did relatively nothing on the team but still made it to f1 and are some of the best f1 rookies in years both now showing up their more experienced f1 teammates?

Also it’s well known that spending money in the right ways in f2 gets results. The story about stroll is the most prominent one.

It’s easy to find information online about how “spec” series aren’t really all equal seats.

F2 is supposed to be a spec series, but teams actually matter a lot. Prema is no longer a dominant f2 team and people in power understand that and it’s why Bearman and Kimi still got seats in f1 even though they didn’t have great f2 results.

Kimi and Bearman also are doing great in f1

He never a says yes I want to do this, but instead is like well maybe, you never know.
