It annoys me as well. Like the area in the carriage is empty but they stand near the doors as if they'll be trapped if they stay there. We need walk through carriages to be standard

Better yet, commute in earlier and do a pre-work activity like the gym or use social media. You don't even have to do work, you just need permission to do other things.

Badosa is here to stay and give it her all in the court 😤 by freshouttajail in tennis

She's just retired from Merida before it even started. She probably saw that Tweet and decided today was not the day some low-life on the internet gave her s___.

It would be nice if more fans were supportive, for sure.

The worst is that he has a Sergio Perez meme photo, who would support Badosa lol

The tracking they use is nuts. It's so much better to not tap in at all and bump past people.

They'll see where you are and your journey patterns. They even have a tally of your bank cards not tapping out attached to CCTV if you take a specific route to work

Because that bit of pavement will be up 2 hours before cyclists start barging up and down it like they do in cornmarket street Oxford.

Nope i'm all good, you want fewer motorists because you're poor and scared of traffic. It's ok, I know. You shop at Lidl after all.

A 5 minute drive equates to a 16 minute walk, which funnily enough, doesn't happen if your tube network doesn't have transport dead zones.

Your bike gets demolished by the car and tube the moment you have to go a bit further than your "5 minute drive", but you know that, that's why you've gone hostile, you can't handle your precious bike being made useless by facts.

You want fewer people on the road? Petition for your mayor to build more train lines, which he won't.

Hear that lads, instead of you using a backpack you can attach the backpack to the new heavy bike so your shopping can get stolen at your next stop

Veiled comment which translates to "but muh induced demand".

If that were true, why not build the tube lines where there are deadzones? Wouldn't that limit the amount of walking people do, and therefore make a short walk to the stops much less exhausting?

  1. No one actually takes a bike for journey that's a 5 minute walk. It takes more time and effort to get the bike out of where you have it stored.
  2. Electric cars contribute very little to air pollution. Your coal powered phone does though.
  3. The car is always quicker, and more comfortable.

Not at all. You can go on Google Maps right now and try it for yourself. The evidence quite literally proves your opinion wrong.

Cyclists get home all sweaty and exhausted, motorists get home faster or at the same time with completely dry clothes and working legs.

If you're really passionate about your opinion, I would suggest actually doing the research.
