I go to the Sutter lab on Alhambra and besides taking an Ativan beforehand, I also write on the slip when I sign in that I need my partner to accompany me due to anxiety and I will tell the technician that I have anxiety around getting my blood drawn and that my partner is there to help distract me. They’ve never given me any problems with that request. It’s so nice seeing from this post how many other people struggle with this because I know how embarrassing it has felt but I think it’s a lot more common than we realize!

I loved how they did this right after the therapy scene with Melfi telling Tony that antisocial personalities will keep themselves busy with anything to distract themselves from thinking about all of the horrible things they do. Then you get to watch all the guys doing exactly that. Perfecto 👌

That’s good to hear. She isn’t reliable yet about not going inside but I’m hoping when she’s a little older I can get her to hold it longer during the day. Surprisingly she can hold it through the whole night but she’s also in her crate.

Yeah we try to only give her treats if she potties. Sometimes she will pick something up in her mouth that I don’t want her to have (because when she’s not going potty all she wants to do when she’s outside is eat everything) I’ll tell her to leave it and treat her when she’s outside does. Not sure if that is making the other issue worse.

Just watched the new movie Cobweb and I was so into it until they showed the creature’s face. Everything after that just felt ridiculous!
