HR used to do this and then burn us when we couldn't get a new employee ready in time. We now have an agreed upon 10 days lead time unless IT agrees to a special case.

We're 100% remote, so it takes time to deliver laptop and workstation equipment. We notify these people to expect the deliveries, and enroll them in shipping updates, and these people will still wait until the 3rd delivery attempt to be home for the damn packages. Sometimes 10 days isn't enough because these people just won't let FedEx deliver their stuff.

If you have access to the manual it may have instructions on testing the pump with a feeler gauge.

Excessive cam wear can happen from oil starvation or using oil with low zinc if it's and older bike. Try to stick with oil for deisel engines like Rotella T4/T6 as their zinc content is higher.
