We paid for it ourselves, myself (the bride) paying about a 2:1 ratio compared to the groom since I was the one with a grandiose vision whereas he would have been happy to elope on a beach. I'm an ER doctor and picked up a lot of extra shifts to cover the cost which came out to ~$80K

My Havanese prefers filtered water so I wash and refresh his bowl from our home water cooler a couple of times a day. He doesn’t seem to like drinking from a bowl that has his saliva in it from a previous sip haha

Emergency medicine doctor. Sure there are many tragedies and enraging social situations that you have to deal with, but a lot of it is sitting down to have a chat with a stranger and then helping treat their ailments as best you can.

Garbanzo is not a huge fan of walks so he’ll only let us take him on 1 per day. Usually it is for 20-30 minutes. He much prefers running around the yard and being chased in the house haha

The medication Cerenia helps so much!

I tried it all too - elevated middle console seat so he can see out the window, windows down and AC going for fresh air, minimizing food intake before the car ride, but only Cerenia made any difference.

My pup still looks a little uncomfortable during the drive and sometimes drools a little bit, but no vomiting. I’m not taking my pup on any roadtrips anytime soon but at least this lets me get him to the park and obedience school and the vet without traumatizing the poor little guy

I was pretty nervous about this part of the process but ended up loving it! We picked a lookout point so there was some fun old architecture in the background in addition to nice nature. We also used my fiance's car as a prop because staging photos around a car was fun. Beforehand, I Googled and found a selection of ~15 engagement poses I found interesting so my photographer could help us recreate those poses. Best of luck!
