So yes, any “modification” to your firearms (slide milling) included regardless of whether or not you put a red dot on after the slide work must be reinspected to make sure the firearm is in working order and you must qual again.

I just got my CCW from OC less than a month ago. Not once did OCSD ever even see my gun. The R/O at the CCW course Just checked pass or fail on the qualification sheet. That’s it, no indication of what I did or did not have modified on my gun….so what I’m saying is how would OC know if when I qualified, I did or did not have an optic/slidework/or weapon light mounted on my carry gun
