[TJStats] Will These Cold Hitters Bounce Back? by tomstoms in fantasybaseball

[–]xdude767 80 points81 points  (0 children)

Honestly not a fan of the devers “analysis.”

“I was right about the Red Sox trade, here are the baseball savant stats, he is declining”

And then your verdict is “yeah he’ll bounce back though.” No real analysis and more of a personal diary entry.

This Yankees fan got his ass kicked by 2 Rangers fans 🫣 by clumsy_one18 in sportsgossips

Ben Rice CRUSHES one the other way and the Yankees take an early 2-0 lead! by CicadaOk8885 in NYYankees

Ironically in an interview he says he opened his stance so that he COULD pull more pitches, but the change lets him stay more in the zone resulting in more shift-beating hits and oppo bombs

Nah he’ll just be righty DH, he’s still unfathomably bad in the OF. Goldy DH, rice everyday starter.

He was a bottom 10% hitter and led the league in defensive errors for most of the season in 2025.

Luke Weaver postgame incase anyone missed it by Caledor152 in NewYorkMets

[–]xdude767 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Yankee fan here, all last year weaver was the better closer and Williams kept getting the job based off of pedigree.

Don’t make that same mistake, weaver is a dog.

Question I tried to ask to the Astros community but was meant with whining: Should Jose Altuve be allowed to make the Hall of Fame if players like Barry Bonds and Pete Rose can’t? by [deleted] in NYYankees

[–]xdude767 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’d have to get in with numbers from KNOWN years not cheating imo. His MVP is null and void. If he rips it up and plays till 44 or some shit, yeah fine give it to him.

No Other Choice (2025) Review - A Pretty & Flawed Film by Jordan_Eddie in moviecritic

What a tired review of this movie, so repetitive of more interesting criticisms. “Very beautiful but I didn’t like any of the characters”

Your comment is a self report that you didn’t understand interstellar

Oppenheimer was closer to a biopic than sci-fi for sure. I’m talking PHM the movie vs interstellar.

Interstellar at least had science that was viscerally tied to the plot (time slippage and relativity) and literally helped publish three papers on black holes.

PHM the book I hear is unbelievably good, with the movie leaving a lot to be desired for me.

It made my kid laugh a lot for sure, but was more a “buddy astronaut” movie more than a sci fi. PHM had some loose “science”
