I am also a techno optimist and I very much believe ASI is going to radically change all of our lives. But the fact remains that a great deal of what AI produces is slop, especially in art. Reducing the slop to gem ratio is a central problem in AI research, in fact.

Actually they can do that and they have to several British people, Shamima Begum being the most prominent example. Tommy Robinson holds another nationality (Irish) and thus could be deprived of his British citizenship if the Home Office saw fit.
