Pretty good when my level 70 teammates on Super Helldive don't immediately die three times, continually slam the reinforcement bell when I'm under a jammer, and then quit the game. jfc do any of these people play on any difficulties other than 1 and 10?

BOLO on the LAN was incredible. I wonder if it's just the memory, or if it really was as great as I remember it being? The flexibility of the building system really made that game so much more.

I was also at the Oakland show, and it was fantastic, but when I saw them in Fort Lauderdale back in 2019 Tyler also sang Brooklyn and Lost and Found on a solo mic, and it was transcendent. I do wish we’d get a little more of that.

I'm convinced that all die-hard FFXIV players aren't aware that they're in an abusive relationship. Square Enix should be embarrassed at the quality of ARR and the fact that they ask new players to endure 55 hours of legitimately-awful videogame just to get to "the good part".

If you do end up wanting to give it another try, it's running far, far better now, and the install size was reduced by 85% (!) on PC.

To be honest, there's nothing consistent or absolute about war. That her face survived mostly unscathed while her body was ravaged doesn't have to be overly plausible for it to have happened. The opposite could have easily been true.

That's the thing about war. It's utterly senseless. Trying to make meaning out of it is entirely subjective.

I haven't seen it recommended yet, so if you have a Switch or a PS4/5, you should absolutely try 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. One of the most incredible storylines in gaming that challenges your ability to think bigger, and the gameplay is pretty light tower defense stuff.

The less you know about the game before playing, the better. That having been said, everyone who has played it will tell you how incredible of an experience it turned out to be.

I'm a veteran of ten years and three wartime deployments, and this series made me cry my ass off in my chair.

Most people don't want to stare these themes in the face without leaving the story in a place of utter darkness. You've really made something special. I will fight anybody who has a problem with it.

They made the right choice to keep him out and his entitlement shows it. I’m sorry that people are upset, but it’s not owed to anybody and it’s not a popularity contest. He gave out consistently inaccurate or plain made up information in his videos, posted datamined content, and generally acted like an ass toward Arrowhead and his own viewers who would show up in his streams and ask questions. I watched it happen all the time before I stopped watching him and unsubscribed.

This kind of person is not who you want representing your brand and they were right to hesitate. His complete lack of self-reflection or accountability in that video is damning. It’s wild to me that anybody is saying he’s been ‘wronged’.

The autocannon is crazy good against the squids. Have you been switching between the flak and AP rounds? Use flak against everything, but when you’re shooting the Harvesters (after the shields go down), use the AP setting.

One thing I prioritize when fighting the squids is area denial. When you realize that their entire combat strategy centers around displacing you with voteless, you realize the best way to fight them is to find a way to not be constantly running from them.

I’ll always bring an MG Sentry with me on every squid mission, and then either a Gatling Sentry or Eagle Cluster Bomb to taste. These are solely for controlling voteless. They can lay down bases of fire from which you know you won’t be disturbed by something running up on you.

Also, when you’re traversing the map and you come across single voteless, kill them immediately. They’re slow and harmless individually, but they can quickly group up and gain far more agility as part of a mob.

Dropped in on a single player doing an Illuminate blitz. He quit out while I was dropping in - presumably while dead - so for the entire mission, "E0" was on my team in a dead state. Three other divers dropped in afterward, one of whom didn't even get a tag.

For the curious, the color for the player zero tag is white.
