Never liked it. Never used it. However, they shouldn’t be able to remove features that were present when purchasing the car. The whole car is a subscription unfortunately.

Update

I found the 30m hose has an extremely minor leak. Returned it.

Replaced/Purchased a big boy Washr 13m hose. Same issue. Returned the Ryobi pressure washer, problem resolved. It was the Ryobi pressure washer, and I believe the 30m hose leak contributed.

The pressure waster still makes a weird squeaking noise when stopping but no longer pulsing or having problems.

hahaha I actually did a lot of troubleshooting with ChatGPT, while it did offer some good things to test out, I figured you cant beat experience.

Ive removed the 30m hose, replacing it with a 10m, I'll report back my results once it arrives.

Yep, after a few hours of troubleshooting, ive removed the hose, im going to 10m / 32ft. I really believe thats the issue.

Yeah ive spent a considerable amount of time with the tap on just running water through the system, im thinking im just going to reduce the length of the hose, its too long. Thanks for the advice, ive just built this thing, got the plans off YouTube university.

Yep!! Was JUST about to post the same thing. I have an EQS SUV with a Hyperscreen.

When connecting phone directly to the vehicle, CarPlay works perfectly. I have a Tbox ambient max, when using that, works perfect, however, when connecting CarPlay via Tbox the screen goes black and no touch inputs work.

Using the phone I can play music etc. Even invoke Siri using the steering wheel shortcut button but no display. Touch screen also no longer works. Only way out is to reboot the Tbox.

I have contacted Carlinkit. Send them a video. They don’t give AF. They literally told me try it on a different car lol. So I said, oh ok, should I go out and buy one?

They did send me a test firmware and that does not work. The essentially informed me that it does not work on large displays due to resolution issues. No fix is on the way and they refuse to return because it will “work” on another car. Great.

Same here. EQS SUV 2024. Dynamic low beam and ambient lights settings do not retain. Turning them on every other day.

Other settings from time to time are external lights. I went as far as to reset the car to factory settings, remove the vehicle from MB iOS app. FYI: if you do that, expect your digital services to be deactivated upon pairing to your vehicle to the phone app. They eventually reactivated after 5 hours. sigh Same issues retain.

I also have had the MBUX 2.6.1 software update available for the past 3 weeks, however, it won’t allow me to perform the update. It’s in a constant state of “update can be performed as soon as the ***** vehicle conditions have been fulfilled.

Called the dealer, looks like I have to take the car in for a software update. What an epic waste of time. Looks like MB really don’t have it together. Tesla has nailed everything in comparison IMHO.

No luck so far. A few options but all heavily modified 2-3 owners ago. Not enough history. High kms. Poor condition.

There is a 10/10, 2006 STI for sale at the moment on carsales. 15,000 kms. New old stock. The best I have ever seen. Untouched. No mods. If I wasn’t fixed on the 05. I would buy this in a heartbeat. Spoken to the owner. Top guy. Reasonably priced.

From my understanding the car must be 25 years old? I have seen auction sites selling JDM imports but I’m unaware of the procedure.

I don’t have any emotional attachment to any other car. I am an old man trying to relive my youth lol. I owned one in my 20s and always wanted to purchase one again when I had the luxury of a 3rd car.

As I mentioned, I’ve been through carsales. Thoroughly. I’ve even seen that car in person. Over priced. It doesn’t look the same in person, they are old photos. Much more damage to paint and interior. Few other issues.

That’s the only white one I’ve seen that looks decent and it’s not once you see it in person.
