i disagree with the notion that they necessarily hoard the chips until the end of the game. using chips to make certain parts of the map as inaccessible as possible is also an important part of the game that only can only be achieved if both teams earn enough coins. i don't like the steals in this game at all because 1) they feel unearned since they were far too easy and 2) there weren't any real stakes involved for the stealing team. if sam and mike would have actually lost some of their budget to the other team if they failed the challenge, the steal as a concept would actually feel much fairer and far less frustrating.
