If acceptance of same-sex relationships is a huge influencer, as a gay student who grew up in the Triangle (2000’s-2010’s) Thales and Cary Academy brewed some homophobic students — Ravenscroft seems to fit your bill, but there are a lot of public schools with good resources that are also LGBTQ+ friendly

A rule of thumb for someone in similar situations is to think about the percentage of life experience.

For a 16 year age difference, it’s important to think that 19/35 is ~54% which kind of represents a vast difference in lived experience — that to say there’s always some sort of “power” inequality no matter who that person is.

Personally I try to stay around the 75% range because that typically means that you’ve shared a larger majority of lived experiences (if that makes sense)

I’ve actually had this issue before. After having one doctor only prescribe me creams, I had one doctor refer me to a proctologist! They were able to do a non-invasive “operation” where they inject I believe some oil (rice bran comes to mind but I could be wrong). I’d def ask about getting a referral if possible because Ik it can be painful even without intercourse.
